Whenever we are in Turkey we love to get a dish called Iskender.. It is thinly sliced lamb on pita covered in tomato sauce with a side of yogurt for dipping. Living in the Detroit area we have tons of middle eastern food, but no Turkish so we were thrilled when we saw that a Turkish restaurant was right across... More

We enjoyed a delicious meal recently at Ali Baba. The restaurant is conveniently located in Condado, on Ashford Ave in the "Condado Village" across from the Marriott Hotel; the Village has a parking lot. We were greeted upon arrival and had to wait a short while for a table. The place was hopping; very popular. We had the hummus for... More

Having had tasted real Turkish food before. We were extremely disappointed with this restaurant as it had so many great reviews. We only enjoyed the freshly made bread and 1 of the starters

In college I had roommates from Kuwait and Jordan and I had the pleasure of dinning with them a few times. They cooked these wonderful dishes that I crave all the time - so going to Ali Baba was a very pleasurable experience. All dishes were flavorful and authentic. The restaurant honors its heritage by staying true to their cuisine... More

Went there for a weirdly early dinner/late lunch at just shy of 4 pm. Being the only people there, the service was extraordinary: efficient, informative, and friendly. We order the baba ghanoush appetizer was good – the dipping flat bread bread was excellent. I could live off that bread! My dinner dish was also excellent: ground lamb Adana kebab with... More

I really like this small restaurant for its authentic, hearty food and nice atmosphere. The mussaka is very tasty and the presentation is original and pretty. You must try the lavash bread.

Quick and good turkish food. Friendly service and nice atmosphere. I found it overpriced...$70 plus tip for a couple of gyros, a chicken platter, hummus, falafel and a couple of lemonades...I think that's too much.

The staff was very accommodating and really nice to talk to, however the hype of the food was subpar. I did not think it was anything special, the bread was amazing tho, freshly made to order!
