The owners were friendly and gave us tourist tips, while we waited for the food. The ambience is romantic and cozy. Although the price is on the higher side, the delicious... More

We went all the way to old San juan for dinner (without reservations because they don't take reservations) and the restaurant was simply closed on a Thursday night. The personnel was there.

A heaven for vegetarians!! The best veggie food one can have in PR. Like most other restaurants in San Juan, the staff here is extremely pleasant, friendly and helpful. They attend individual table with full care and take the time to explain their menu, the specials and recommend based on your taste and preference. And unlike the usual fried food... More

The staff at this adorable establishment is extremely knowledgeable about their multiple vegan and vegetarian options. They do serve meat and fish, but they have a wonderful selection for those of us who choose a different path. They clearly put just as much care and attention into their specialty menus as they do into the main menu, as everything was... More

A very quaint restaurant in a corner of the city, a little away from all the tourist areas. Food was very unique, a Vegan menu and plenty of choices for a vegetarian. Service was very good. Very busy at peak time, they do not take reservations, so plan in advance to go and put your name in the list and... More

Fresh food with real taste & flavors. Layers of flavor. Yet, still very simple. Loved it & will be going back. True art in every sense. My husband said it was like eating flowers! Thank you for the delightful surprise. :)

While at the Butterfly People shop a block and half away we asked for a lunch recommendation and was given the Verde Mesa. Found the place opposite a small park with a couple umbrella tables outside, but one needs to look closely to see the small sign. Fortunately we arrived 5 min before the post lunch siesta time started at... More

So good we went back again! This is a little gem with incredible food. From homemade bread to salad, to inventive entrees to fantasy purple cloud desserts, we can't say enough. Try any of the fish dishes….cooked to perfection. The long long wait was worth it (they don't take reservations). Come willing to put your name on a list then... More
