Excellent food and price. Must come back lot of locals so its a sign of very hood food and service. Ask for "Mingo" the owner. You won't be disappointed.

To start, the food is good local (Dominican) rice and beans fried steak thing. It is open late, a mix of classes in the abandoned area of Santurce. But service is slow. And they will treat you much better at Los Pinos in Miramar a better neighborhood down the road.

I liked the extensive menu, good prices, good location, nice parking, and good service. I try to go at least once a month there. They have music on Saturdays but I have never gone on Saturdays.

Food is well prepared, service is above average, my regular joint. Newly expanded location is better too.

If looking for a cheap option on a dominican style food place this is it. Ambiance not so welcoming but it stands out from its neighbors.

Visited on Dec 2011 with my family was recommended by my mom friend. The place is nothing fancy. Look like a regular cafeteria. I ordered mofongo con churrasco. The churrasco or skirt steak was moist and tasty not overcook. Most of my family ordered fish with different sauces in which you could get a side dish of mofongo, rice &... More

We were looking for a place to eat a Saturday late night in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Someone mentioned a place called El Camaron, they open until late night. They have plenty of parking in the back and a person who escort you to the restaurant (nice guy). The waitress was a little rude, they had live music that night... More

This restaurant/café is located at the Miramar neighborhood in San Juan. It has the Main offices of the Autoridad de Energia Electrica (Power Authority of Puerto Rico) right in front. Also, it is very close to the Condado area, where most of the hotels are located. It has a private, although small parking area with valet parking. During lunch time... More
