A friend recommended this restaurant. I should have read Trip Advisor reviews before going. To be fair, though food takes quite a while to get served, it is all cooked fresh when ordered, which does take time. And the food does look fresh. We entered the restaurant and it was very noisy (loud). No one received us, so we walked... More

It is a must transit through the Ponce de Leon Avenue and take a short break at El Camaron Rest. The beers, always cold, the food almost in line with other top places. The service depending who attending you. The waitress seems to be sometimes hurry ignoring their primary goal. SERVICE. Just in case and to be sure, seek a... More

It is a family and inexpensive restaurant for local criollo food. The price was good and the food was average. They serve a lot of food.

Good flavors at a good price. Servings are good size --- some enough for two. Place was packed! Had shrimp salad with mofongo. Shrimp was well cooked.

Excellent food and price. Must come back lot of locals so its a sign of very hood food and service. Ask for "Mingo" the owner. You won't be disappointed.

To start, the food is good local (Dominican) rice and beans fried steak thing. It is open late, a mix of classes in the abandoned area of Santurce. But service is slow. And they will treat you much better at Los Pinos in Miramar a better neighborhood down the road.
