Very chic and hip with great food and fast service. The atmosphere was lively and fun, but it is hard to hear and pretty dark. The food was fresh and delicious. I recommend the Perfect Lady and the Millionaire cocktails. The bartenders were amazing (they've made it to the world class bartending competition every year for the past 4 years),... More

We were told to try this restaurant from a local and we weren't disappointed. We tried several dishes and they were all very fresh, creative and delicious. They had a great basil martini topped with shaved chocolate that was an unexpected favorite. Expensive, but worth the price for a splurge meal.

My wife and I celebrated her birthday at Santaella last Friday. I had mentioned that it was her birthday and we were promptly greeted at our table with a complimentary glass of prosecco. The atmosphere of the restaurant is trendy and pumping. The bar was very lively and produced really nice cocktails. I'm glad to see the bespoke cocktail culture... More

I went here because a local friend had recommended and it was the best tip I could have gotten! The place is located in the Plaza Santurce which is the happening place on weekend nights. All four of us LOVED the food. The chicken dishes were absolutely delicious and the garlic shrimp was spectacular. And of course the tostones. This... More

What a great place to experience local cuisine. Had a large group so we spled a number of different appetizers. Incredible food...each plate better than the previous. Great service.

Such a great vibe to this place. Welcoming staff and fun atmosphere. Food was great but not a quiet place which was fine with us. Had Parmesan cheese ice cream and tomato salad (YUM!) and a steak for dinner which was not a straight forward steak but don't go here if you want straight forward! Everything has a slight Latin... When ever you are in Puerto Rico this restaurant is a place to go. Close to a very unique place in Santurce, La Plaza del Mercad, it's just 15 minutes from main hotel area in Condado and San Juan. Chef Santaella combine the local cousine with an a unique flavor. Coming down to P.R. and mist this restaurant you will... More

Santaella is keen on upping our creole menu and bringing it to new culinary heights. His presentation is superb and he is not shy about using our homegrown ingredients in his upscale artistic concoctions. We are fans and the baked alaska and nutella dessert is to die for and you won't find the nutella dessert anywhere else on earth.
