Great ending to a day after El Morro Fort

We had a late lunch here after visiting El Morro, with a dear friend who took us touring and dining while on vacation in PR. We love to go to local restaurants and try authentic local dishes. My husband and I shared a delicious bowl of chicken, sausage, cabbage, kale and white bean soup, followed... read more

Lovely menu and helpful servers! We enjoyed the mofongo prepared multiple ways and the atmosphere seated outdoors. There is a centuries old Ceiba tree on the grounds, worth seeing and we really enjoyed our meals and our server.

From a bakery perspective, they have a very large variety. The pastries are really good. Sandwiches are very well made. However, I find prices to be quite high for a bakery.

This Spanish bakery is one of our favorite places. They still make an authentic Cuban sandwich. I also like their pastries.

I went for lunch and stood at the counter waiting for service. Several minutes passed before anyone even looked at me. I asked for the Caldo Gallego (Spanish white bean soup with sausages, kale and cabbage) and a couple of ham croquettes. The soup was luke warm. The croquettes were fine but a little bland. This restaurant used to be... More

You can have a plenty of authentic spanish food and soups. For me the best dish is Fabada soup white bean and pork stew is very flavorfull and always fresh. The quality of food is top... More

The bread here is outstanding so we were taking loaves for New Years Eve. I like this sort of deli so we decided to have lunch & coffee. Counter service was friendly but when we went to the table the grumpy was waiting on us. Luckily an older lady (younger than me) came around a made it very pleasant. She... More

They were sorry but made me take the tray back to them to confirm I was telling the truth... They expalined they do not have a 100% quality control over this. They returned my money but the damage was... More
