Very good sandwiches and pastries, among lots of imported Spanish products. The real roasted turkey "medianoche" sandwich is to die for! They also offer daily specials that are a little pricier than options at the sandwich bar, but are consistently good as well. Great selection of (mostly) Spanish wines and seasonal products such as the famous "Turrón de Alicante" If... More

The service is not the friendliest in the world, excellent deli type food but quite expensive for the type of food served.

La Ceiba is one of the place I visit often. To be honest, it is not particularly for the flavor of their food. Actually, they have flavorful spanish food such as octopus and such. However, the prices of this food are astronomical. So there you are, in a bakery, eating spanish food, and paying prices as if a server was... More

The vibe is very familiar and sandwiches are good though pricey..they offer many delicious desserts and great tortilla española...good caldo gallego as well not so many tapas hoping for more of these since its a spanish kind of bakery...where people gather to have some glasses of wine.

Just got back from Spain and fell in love with tapas, so looked for someplace local with tapas & Spanish food and the reviews for this place sounded good. They had 3 flavors of coquettes (and they were nothing special) and that was the closest I saw to tapas. That was it! I had a small bowl of shrimp salad... More

We stop here every time we leave San Juan to load up on pastries and sandwiches to eat on the plane. The Quesitos here are to die for and the bocadilla a la gallega is as well!

While in la Roosevelt Avenue La Ceiba is the place for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Big sandwiches made for you the way you like it. Lots of bakery delight. Great coffee and drinks. You may catch a few Puerto Rican TV actor and news personnel stopping for a quick bite out of their busy schedule. They also has Mayorcas, quesitos... More
