Good food, slow service.

The food is excellent!! Well cooked and with a magnificent flavor!! The only thing is that the wait is too long. I went with my boss who is based in Mexico, trying to make a good impression but it was not like I expected. The server told him that his plate will take about 45 minutes to cook and... read more

Loved this adorable restaurant-- great decor and comfy seating, fun atmosphere. Delish food (spinach dip, fried fish bites, steak, seafood stew) and drinks (sangria punch, and pina colodas). Kid friendly, great service.

We had a great meal here with some Great Red Sangria, very authentic local cusine and they had a great band playing all night!

My husband and I dined at Casa Lola for New Year's Eve after reading the great reviews. The food was top notch - empanadas were tasty, as well as the swordfish and paella. However, the lack of experienced service brought it down a notch. Despite having reservations, we were not offered a table until after a 95 minute wait. We... More

Casa Lola was a fantastic choice for dinner. Not only was the staff friendly, but the food was authentic and delicious! We had our 3 year old with us and although there is not a kids menu, we were able to find food suitable for him. The menu is varied and the prices are slightly high. However, this was one... More

We had a wonderful meal at Casa Lola. Everything, from drinks to appetizers to mains and desserts, was very well flavored. I would especially recommend the seafood salad, the crab cakes, and the coffee flan. My husband's pork came with a beautifully flavored, creamy risotto and delicious chimichurri. We have eaten at several of the top rated restaurants in San... More

We seem to always end up here every time we go to San Juan. I really like their BBQ chicken skewers with pineapple rice, thought their take on paella (no fish- just meat) is pretty interesting, too. I love the coconut bread to start. With a small group, we typically do not make reservations but on popular nights, you may... More

Enjoyed a relaxed Friday afternoon lunch at Casa Lola. Nice view of the inlet with people out on the water paddle boarding. We enjoyed the caesar salad with grilled chicken, mofongo with chicarron, rice and beans and the Caribbean mofongo with tamarind sauce. Despite it not being that crowded the service was lax and a bit slow (definitely "island time").... More

My favorite meal in Puerto Rico. Warm coconut bread to start. Can't be bad. My appetizer was a seafood ceviche that had so much flavor, it exploded in your mouth. Not from spiciness, just from the mix of citrus, peppers and tender seafood. Just amazing. Seafood mofongo was to die for. I couldn't get enough. My husband enjoyed his steak... More

It was like a party all. Ichtsres with the music and dancing. Not sure how to describe this place, but it was hoppin and their beef brisket was excellent. Had Mahi mahi and it did not disappoint. Appetizers were excellent.
