The atmosphere of the restaurant lively and inviting. We absolutely enjoyed our meal. The service was great. Had a somewhat difficult time finding a dish for my wife who has an onion allergy, even though it was mentioned when I made the reservation on open table. The coconut flatbread is a must try and the oregano chicken kabobs were delicious.... More

Really liked the modern updates on traditional favorites. Portions were quite ample, even if prices were a bit on the high side. I wish I could have tried more of the menu! Surprisingly, the dining room was louder than the bar, but you could hold a conversation in either place with no difficulty.

Loved our dinner experience at Lola! Wait staff was attentive and friendly service was prompt. Plates were pretty. Our appetizer was huge and delicious. The complimentary bread with aioli was delicious. My husband had the pork mofongo as he wanted to try this traditional dish. He really liked it. I had the brisket, a huge thick piece of meat with... Honestly this was our second choice as our first choice was closed, but it was such a great time that I will definitely go back! As soon as you walk in you are greeted by a beautiful painting of Lola which just sets the mood. The dining area was warm and comfortable. The service was superb and the food delicious.... More

Had dinner with friends, the food was delicious as were the drinks. A good value and moderately priced. The staff was attentive and very polite and professional. Live music was enjoyable. The ambience and location make it worth the trip and east to find. You would do well to enjoy an evening here.

I was in San Juan for business and my associate who lives in Puerto Rico took me here to get a flavor of the islands. The food was excellent as was the service. I ordered the tuna and I would highly recommend it if you go. It was absolutely delicious. The plantain wrapped crab cake appetizer was also very good.... More

This has been one of my best experiences dining out in San Juan. Needless to mention, the food was excellent. The people were very courteous. The bar and its mojitos as a starter was delightful.

Loved this restaurant! We had Christmas dinner here and it was a true criollo experience. I enjoyed the vegetarian monfongo and the hubby enjoyed his lechon with rice and beans. reservations through opentable were no problem and the service was great. No complaints. Valet parking was $7.

My wife and I thought it was a decent meal/experience but probably would not make a return visit. Food was reasonable, but service wasn't great. It was NYE, and the place was packed so I understand. But it took quite a while to be seated (with a reservation), and it only happened after my wife aggressively inquired about getting a... More

THE MOST amazing and succulent and biggest swordfish I've ever had. (Sauce was a little salty but overall dish was still delicious.) Good appetizers and huge tasty red velvet cake. Portions are big. Fun atmosphere and bar staff. Such a fun new year's eve.
