Great variety of pizzas. The Pirilo pizza was the best pizza I have ever had! Totally recommend. Only bad thing was how busy they were. There was a line out the door. We ordered to go instead, but totally worth it.

In a summary, the food is very good. If you like to enjoy a good pizza, this is a very good place and the ambiance is rustic-welcoming...No complaints about the food, may be, that the small pizza is expensive for the price you pay... But, in terms of the tip, without asking or letting you know, they charge a 15%... More

Great pizza especially the carbonara and arugula. I wish they'd bring back ginger beer had it just once. De octopus is a must or the chorizos. Extremely busy on mid day and weekends avoid those hours. Overall great pizza.

We chose this place based on its good reviews on trip advisor and it did not disappoint! We went on Friday so we had to wait thirty minutes, went next door to the Pub and had a few drinks. We sat upstairs on the 2nd floor, which was much nicer then the 1st floor. The service was great and the... More

We were sick of eating the local food in Puerto Rico and desperately wanted some "good" pizza. While roaming around the streets of Old San Juan one afternoon we found Pirilo and it was a HUGE success!! The restaurant is small and narrow but it was packed with locals and tourists - which I think is a good sign! The... More

I parked at Doña Fela's public parking (as usual) on a Sunday night (very unusual). I walked around to Fortaleza St. and enjoyed for a couple of minutes the live music band at the plaza. Then walked straight up on Fortaleza St. until I got to the intersection with Tanca St. There it was... A small door to what it... More

The entrance does not look like much except for the people wanting to get in. I chose to sit at the bar at the top where the service and atmosphere was good and the food and drinks matched the service. The pizza was outstanding.

Small place with a big taste. We had to wait for a table, since is a very small place, but the pizza was great, and so was the malanga chips with different ajioli sauces.

The building itself was rustic and full of charm. The food was a little better than average and the service was just average. The ambiance was it's best quality. I am sure if we had a better understanding of the menu, we may have had a better experience with the food. It was very crowded which is a good sign.

Great pizza and you can do half and half which is great if you don't want to order 2 pizzas and take the leftovers with you. We had the bread and marinara sauce to start which was fabulous. They use lots of garlic which I love but be warned if you're on a date as this may not go down... More
