Small place with a big taste. We had to wait for a table, since is a very small place, but the pizza was great, and so was the malanga chips with different ajioli sauces.

The building itself was rustic and full of charm. The food was a little better than average and the service was just average. The ambiance was it's best quality. I am sure if we had a better understanding of the menu, we may have had a better experience with the food. It was very crowded which is a good sign.

Great pizza and you can do half and half which is great if you don't want to order 2 pizzas and take the leftovers with you. We had the bread and marinara sauce to start which was fabulous. They use lots of garlic which I love but be warned if you're on a date as this may not go down... More

I was recently in Old San Juan over Labor Day Weekend, and we stayed for 5 nights. My BF and I ended up going to Pirilo 3 TIMES this trip. The Pizza was awesome (and so were the empanadas) - they have a variety of toppings and you can order 1/2 one type and the other 1/2 a different type... More

On a recent trip to Old San Juan, my husband and I tried Pirilo based on the recommendation of our taxi driver, the huge lines outside, the good Yelp reviews, and the fact that it was down the street from our hotel. It was one of the only places we could find anything going on late on a Sunday night... More

Been here several times. Food is always great. Usually a line out the door but this time almost empty!! (Late afternoon) we had the sampler and 3 personal pizzas. All were great! My bf had 2 house mojitos and liked them. I had the doña Crispina (?) and really enjoyed it. Our server was a bit in lala land. But... More

Visited this place on a Tuesday night at 6:30pm. Absolutely no line. The waitress seemed completely disinterested in the customers (we had to hunt her down for a doggie bag and also for our check). Our order (tripleta pizza) was done in a very short period of time, but was completely underwhelming, in my opinion. It cost $23 for a... More

Being Vegan on the Island as a Local I have pretty much closed my options when it comes to places that understand my special dietary needs. I visited Pirilo based on recommendation from some friends and I found myself to be in Vegan (not eating so healthy) heaven. Their variety of beers especially my favorite Samuel Smith and the fact...
