Loved the great service by Mariana the owner. Great coffee from the lovely town of Yauco. Cuatro Sombras is located in a great spot facing the incoming cruise ships, has an awesome patio al fresco and a great European-Boricua feeling. Highly recommend it.

The title pretty much says it all. I recommend starting your day with one of their delicious guava butter croissants and an expresso. The bagged coffee makes a great souvenir for yourself or friends. enjoy!

Our tour guide brought us here after our tour as I love coffee and always bring back coffee to share with my friends from any trip we take. This coffee I bought the beans and we ground them at my mom's and it made any amazing favored cup of coffee! We all enjoyed our morning coffee. From what our tour... More

This is San Juan's local version of Starbucks. It is more pintoresque, but as expensive as Starbucks. Very beautiful on the inside although a quite small space....

Agree with most other reviewers here, the coffee here is outstanding. Satisfying and flavorsome with none of the over-roasted bitterness one finds in so many tragically hip triple shot NY coffee shops. The speed with which it is served is a something of a shock for those based in busy urban centers, but the relaxed pace is very much in... More

My family and I discovered the place today. We use to walk on by and the coffee smell just gets to you. Well today we decided to give it a try and what a pleasant surprise it was. They grind their own coffee in their own machine which takes a big deal of their much needed space, reason why I... More

Some of the best coffee we've ever had. Locally grown and roasted on the island. This coffee has hints of cinnamon and other spices and the coffee tastes rich even w/o cream or other additions. Great staff, nice place to take a break from shopping and touring. Buy some to take home.

We absolutely loved the coffee at Cuatro Sombras - highly recommend grabbing a latte in the morning and then heading to the beach. We also ended up buying multiple bags of coffee beans for home and gifts for family/friends. Happy to know they have an online store!

Our third visit in 1 year to this quaint and beautifully decorated cafe. The Cappuccino is heavenly, no extra sweetners needed. Smooth and full of flavor with every sip. Most importantly, consistent each time. The sandwiches are freshly prepared... I suggest the Chicken salad sandwich. Give it a try if you are visiting Old Juan (you won't be disappointed).
