This is the only Spanish restaurant located in an authentic Old Spanish building from early nineties making the culinary experience very special. From the entrance to the building you are transporting in time and place to 1932 to Spain this place used to be for civic activities of Spanish people living in Puerto Rico. Our Food is classical spaniard cuissine from the most important regions of Spain with an excellent selection of wines but we are also pleased to prepare your favorite dish according with your special specifications. We guaranty an outstanding quality of service and freshness in a fine dinning athmosphere. We have also for private activities our Tasca Manuel Fernandez Juncos room and outside sittings " Terraza" for dinner or wine and tapas party. Inside the main saloon bar you can drink your preferred coctail and tapas. Our location is walking distance major places of interes in Old San Juan ,Hotels and we have as part of our guests services valet parking and armed security guards . For cigar smokers we have an area were you can enjoy with your friends. Every Friday have life music . Open hours from Tuesday to Saturday 11:30 am to 11:30pm Sunday 11:30am to 9:00pm.

While visiting on vacation, a friend recommended Casa de Espana. It was absolutely amazing food, service and atmosphere. The building is ancient and beautiful, the restaurant is warm and welcoming. The lamb and Galician octopus were top quality and our server was by far the best, most professional we had on our entire trip. He was extremely intelligent on many... More

location is the aft part of the Casa de Espana, nice look into the patio but not stunning. Simple style restaurant, clean, calm. A big TV on one wall. Fried bacalao pastels were deep fried and tasted like potatoe. Langostinos a la plancha were fresh but over cooked.

The staff was very responsive to communications regarding a reservation on the busiest of nights (Valentine's Day). The meal was fantastic, and the staff very attentive.

The PULPO A LA GALLEGA with the right amount of paprika, coarse salt and tender octopus is the best we have tasted outside Spain. This pleasant an quiet restaurant serves tapas as well as other SPANISH style dishes. Nice atmosphere. No elevator and located a few blocks from downtown old San Juan. Have eaten here 4 times in last 3... More

Great restaurant! Food was terrific - tapas, paella, seafood stew, lamb shanks, shrimp risotto). Wait staff was attentive and very helpful. The restaurant itself is absolutely stunning. Will definitely go again. Perfecto!

We were here with a large group of kids and adults. In my sole opinion the food was absolutely delicious and very authentic. Some of our crowd found it "too authentic" but that could have been our not researching it enough or lack of experience with Spanish food. I felt it was a great chance for the kids to try... More

The restaurant is housed in what was a private club. The architecture is outstanding and beautifully maintained. This was the feature that attracted us to the Restaurant. I had Lamb Shanks which were superbly cooked. The staff are professional.
