We had the local Puerto Rican style dishes. I had a beef skirt steak meal and the wife had the pork dish that were the specialties according to the wait staff. The food was excellent. They have a hot sauce/marinade that is on each table that is incredible. I had to have some. They brought it to me ready to... More

Got a referral from our hotel and tried this place for lunch when we got off the plane. It's very unassuming on the outside but has really good authentic PR cuisine in a cute little atmosphere. Be patient with the servers because they're not the most engaged or overly friendly. But grab a plate of mofongo, some rice and beans... More

This is the best food you can get on Avenue Ashford for your money. We had the best ceviche, the best mojito and the best red snapper we ever had. The price is reasonable.

This place is located within walking distance to our hotel... We wanted to eat Puerto Rican food and we were referred to Orozcos. At first glance, it looked ok, but nothing special. But when the food came... Oh my! Amazing taste! We liked Orozcos so much that we went there for breakfast and dinner several times. The staff was very... More

Impressed with: Arroz com gandules (rice w pigeon peas) - best one I've tasted in my life and I've tried a lot of versions from the kitchens of Latin mothers/grandmothers. "Trifongo" option (did not like the actual mofongo dish/taste) - mash of green and yellow plantains and yucca (cassava). Service was friendly. Not impressed with: Their pernil - a bit... More

So good we ate here 2 nights in a row. Not over priced, authentic and good service. We had the mofongo and some of the other family members chose other entrees that they weren't as excited about as we were. So maybe the Mofongo is what to rave about here. Try the fish mofongo, we found that it was our... More

We attended a rehearsal dinner at Orozco's. The food was very good and the service was pretty quick considering we were a large group. Everyone who tried the mofongo really enjoyed it!

This place was just down the street from my resort. I ate here twice during my stay because I had to have another Cubano before I left. The sandwich mixed with the home made sauce on each table was hands down the best Cuban sandwich I have ever had. Most of the staff is bilingual and it looked like there... More

We stayed at Marriott across the street and ate two breakfasts here. Good value. One morning they had no electricity (it was out all the Condado) but they still had the gas stove going. Great omelet with very lean bacon and none of that "porky" stench that some pork products on the mainland have. Add to this their good soft... More

My hubby and I enjoy this place--the food is delicious. It's affordable fresh fair that will give you the PR experience that you are looking for. It's a small spot and can get crowded but it's worth it. The service is nice and all wait staff are helpful and attentive.
