Food was delicious but there was a bit of a wait for the food considering the restaurant was almost empty. Servers were friendly enough. The menu had a decent variety.

This was definitely a GREAT part of my vacation in the San Juan area. The food here is fantastic. From the appetizers if you want a small snack to the main dishes like their monfongo. The food here was also priced very well! Not a dent on my budget at all! If you want to have some great drinks too... More

Right across from our hotel; offered much cheaper drink prices. Very friendly staff. I recommend the mixed rice with chicken. Large portion; could definantly share. The mofongo here was also good. Order a mojito with Don Q; its much better than Bacardi.

We had a nice dinner at this restaurant. I've has pork mofongo at several restaurants in San Juan, and this was the best so far. Good Value. A little problem with the bill we were first given (wrong entries and quantities, but quickly corrected....so be careful to review your bill.

My girlfriend and I ate here twice during a week long vacation to San Juan. Food is delicious and authentic Puerto Rican food with decent prices and the cafe plays good Latin music in the background to set the ambiance. I would have rated the restaurant a 5 if it wasn't for the abysmal service that we received during our... More

What can I say about this café? It had the best coffee we had in Puerto Rico the breakfast was excellent and the wait staff was friendly accommodating and just generally a good time. We started almost every morning at Angels for breakfast. I highly recommend the steak and eggs if you can get it but don't miss out on... More

My friends and I ate here on three different occassions because the food was so good and the bartenders are really fun! We enjoyed the indoor/outdoor experience when the weather was nice, and the inside air conditioned optioned when it was too hot to dine outdoors. Because there were 5 of us, we all tried something different each time and... More

My wife & I were looking for some place to eat dinner. We happened upon Café Angel. At first we weren't sure if we wanted to go in, but are sure glad we did. The Staff was very friendly. I had the sampler plate (pork, rice & beans, a pastel & one other item), my wife had the seafood mofongo.... More

During our recent visit to San Juan PR, our concierge recommended we visit Café del Angel restaurant. It was walking distance from our hotel. The service was good, but just a bit slow. The food itself was delicious. My fiancé had the friend chicken and I had the grilled chicken, rice and sweet plantains. I didn't care for the plantains.... More

The openly gay bartender is funny but his drinks wasn't on point and the food did NOT look appetizing.
