This was our first Puerto Rican restaurant upon our arrival and we were starving after a full day of traveling. The wait staff was great, they had numerous recommendations & they were all fantastic. I have a picky eater & he loved everything they recommended. Again the portions here were large, just like all the other restaurants we ate at... More

What can I say about the Cafe de Angel? I've been there four times in the last 5 days. It's in the hear of Condado, across the street from La Concha. During our multiple visits, we had mofongos, arroz con habichuelas (beans), platanos fritos, bistec, etc... It was all wonderful. The staff is great, the pique is the best we... More

Was ate here 2 or 3 times. The skirt steak mofongo was the best mean I had, during our entire stay in San Juan. The first visit was just my husband and I. The service was excellent and the drinks were delicious. The second time we went was with a group of 11, while there was another very large group... More

Affordable, delicious local food, excellent service! We eat there 2-3 times every time we travel to the Island. Right across La Concha Hotel, in El Condado neighborhood.

Not a fancy place, but we had pretty good service for our group of 9. The mofongo was pretty good. The drinks were better the afternoon a couple of days previous; perhaps we were thirstier then, but the drinks with supper were a little more heavy on the crushed ice. The sign out front touts happy hour (when is that?... More

Right across the street from La Concha hotel. Try pernil asado, roast pork, Churrasco, skirt steak, and mini Alcapurrias with hot sauce for appetizers. Flan dessert is a must.

We went there for lunch and dinner and we were presently surprised. They have a lot of waiters and they all come to your table to make sure everything is alright, but it takes a while to get the food. We were not disappointed with the food. Everything tasted very good. Went back again that same day at night and... More
