Great Food and Quick Service

I stopped by this cafe because it had great food. I ordered the chicken mofongo, with rice and beans, platanos and a coffee. Loved every bit of it! If you have the time, definitely stop here when in San juan.

We were a group of 6 heading out on a cruise later that day! They very easily accommodated our group and were quickly and pleasantly served a delicious breakfast. The price was right and very affordable. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the area.

Real eggs, bacon and toast. Great toast! $3.50, I know! So happy to find this awesome cafe in Old San Juan!

Stopped in for breakfast, nice and clean place. They have fresh juices. The breakfast was good. I had the cheese pastalillos. The kids had oatmeal and toasted pound cake. Very delicious food and good service.

Very good place for lunch! We got to the restaurant around 11 am and we didn't have to wait. However, by the time we left it was full and people were waiting to get in. We ate here while in OSJ for the day on a cruise. It's a short walk from where the ships dock. I had the mofongo... More

After hiking around old San Juan, stop in for ice cold beer and good local eats. Mofongo, sandwich and locals specials, were all good. Definitely a must find and must stop place.

If you are looking for good Puerto Rican food... this is the place. It gets very full, so is better to go either before or after 12noon.

We stopped by for breakfast at Cafe Manolin during our recent stay in Old San Juan, based on its great reviews and the recommendation of our host. The place really is all its cracked up to be! Breakfast omelettes were yummy, as was the coffee. We liked the atmosphere here, with the old-style lunch counter. It seemed like lots of... More

Great "local" feel in an otherwise touristy area. Must sit at the counter. Their "Mofungo" was good, plenty of properly cooked shrimp, hiding below the plantain mash. I had their version of churrasco pollo, aka fried chicken. Very tasty and even better with a little of their house hot sauce. The place is popular so you may wait to get... More
