This is my favorite restaurant in San Juan. It serves typical Puerto Rican dishes, but in a gourmet style. The food is great and the service is excellent. Also, try the sangria that they make with either acerola or parch (passion fruit) juice. it is wonderful and refreshing and all made from fresh fruit. Do note that this is not... More

Stumbled into this place during my family's first night in San Juan and we were blown away. It's always a nice surprise when the restaurant gives you appetizers and soup on the house. We had a fried cod appetizer and a green plantain soup that were compliments of the chef. The chalk board menu was a bit hard to read... More

Recommended by Yelp, we decided to give this place a try. And, to put it in a nutshell, we were blown away. Absolutely superb food beginning to end, and great sangrias too. The menu (which I believe changes very frequently) is written on a chalk board (with less than perfect hand writing, I might add). Ambience is also very charming--... More

Went to Miramar with my girlfriend on our first night in PR. Found the place off Yelp, where it got excellent reviews. Very cute place with nice patio and also a cute eating area inside. Service was fantastic - all of the staff were really nice, very happy to explain food items we weren't familiar with, and very attentive throughout... More

Thu-5/29-approx 8pm. Despite a 40 min wait in the very small waiting area at the entrance of the Casita Mirimar, an old mansion I think(air conditioned)...it was worth every minute and penny. What great meals prepared for us. Many specials served each night presented on a chalk/blackboard(English and Spanish). The staff was wonderfull explaining the appetizers, entre's, preparation, spices used... More

We ordered way too much food! I didn't know they were going to give complimentary soup and cod fish fritters! I still think that it's odd that they write out there menu on boards. I guess they can rotate the foods that they serve depending on what's in season? I tried their mofongo but I have to say it wasn't... More

Amazing food and service! Our waiter was excellent and extremely kind - offered his suggestions with our choices and we were so happy to take them! Would love to come back here every time we visit Puerto Rico! The outdoor terrace has a beautiful breeze and is surrounded by plants. Such a beautiful place! Highly recommend!

The staff was very friendly and polite the food was okay and over priced for the quality and portions. The restaurant has the smallest waiting area I have every been in. The only walk way is a narrow path that runs closets to the wall and hard to walk when waiters are flying down to the walk way at the... More
