Good food in a neighborhood atmosphere

Good PR food in a fancy neighborhood house. Parking was on the street, so there may be a little walking involved. It was nice to break out of the Old San Juan area for intimate eats.

Outstanding Customer Service When we arrived, the parking lot was full. The parking attendant kindly found a well lit parking spot right across the street from the restaurant. We had to wait 30 minutes for our table, but during that time, the staff gave us constant updates, bring some appetizers, and took our drink order. The staff made their best... More

We dined here the night before our cruise. I had the mahi mahi chunks in a huge avocado and it was devine. It came with a nice salad with tomatoes, pineapple and a wonderful local cheese. I had the passionfruit sangria for a drink, and it was good; they had many flavors to choose from. I highly recommend eating here.... More

This is a hidden jewel in San Juan. The food is delicious and moderately priced. They stop taking customers at 10:30 so go early. If you get in and have to wait; Wait. You will be rewarded. They have 13 tables that are in an air conditioned room and another 6 on Terrace. Hostess Solimar is very friendly and will... More

What a little gem this place is! We wander over there last night and were wowed by the impeccable and friendly service... and of course, the food! Tasty, delicious, Puerto Rican food with a bit of a twist and creativity. My husband is still talking about the smoked ribs finished in a guava bbq sauce. My ropa vieja was delicious... More

My wife and I ate here our first night in San Juan. Near our hotel and top quality food and staff. Loved the ambiance and decor...this is a great place for a date night!

Extremely pleasant restaurant with exceptional service and friendly staff. Had a wait before being seated and we were treated royally with snacks and courteous updates on seating availability. Local fare with numerous selections. Pleasant outdoor dining

We ate here on the last night of our stay at the recommendation of Ramon and Victor, employees of Hotel Miramar. There could not have been a more perfect way to cap off our dining experiences in Puerto Rico. The food was delicious and plentiful. For appetizers, we were served flat, breaded cod patties. Plantain soup also came with our... More

Food was great. Dining area was a bit small. It has a very authentic feel. Really enjoyed the mofongo!

That is saying a LOT considering my family prides themselves as chefs. I visited Casita Miramar because it was close to the hotel we were staying at, as well as the reviews. When you first approach the restaurant, there is a man stationed in the parking lot to keep an eye on your car. He directs you to the door.... More
