This restaurant was recommended by our hotel. Our was server so pleasant. I had the guava barbecued ribs and my wife had seafood mofongo both were delicious. Add a pitcher of sangria, dining in court yard with a pleasant tropical breeze, with my beautiful wife and it was a perfect end to a perfect vacation.

I loved the atmosphere of this place. The food was delicious. I am a vegetarian and they offered me several options. They also provide some extras like complementary soup. I ordered a stuffed avocado and it was amazing!

After haviing two other great dinners here, we really looked forward to returning. We even planned our evening around our visit here. And we were just as pleased as before with the wonderful food. After our complimentary soup & bacalaitos, we enjoyed the avocado stuffed with mahi mahi & the mofongo filled with seafood. Yum! With such an interesting menu... More

According to locals, this is a must-have dining experience while in San Juan. I agree! The food definitely outshines the service, not to say the service was bad, but any little issue you may notice with melt away when the food arrives. Definitely have a drink mixed with one of many fresh made tropical juices. Also the fried cheese with... More

I was spending my last day in my birth country, Puerto Rico. My brother and his family wanted to take me to a nice restaurant to celebrate me spending the Holidays with them and the rest of the family. We thought of going to Old San Juan, but our plans changed due to being overcrowded there. We diverted to Miramar,... More

Everything was good! The waiters are very attentive and the waiting time is not long. I loved that they receive you with "bacalaitos", good pique and plantain soup (which are favorites here in P.R.), instead of the old boring bread with garlic. The menu varies all the time. I ordered the avocado filled with shrimp in a garlic sauce and... More

The food here is amazing!!! I'm from NY and thought that I've tasted all that Puerto Rican food had to offer. I was wrong. The best rice and beans, fresh salad. The bunuelos!!! You have to try or your trip will be a waste. Lol. But serious. The ribs with rum guava sauce was superb. This will be my go... More

This is a lovely restaurant in Miramar, a breezy, upscale neighborhood near Condado, full of posh condo buildings and occasional casonas/mansions. This restaurant is set in a casona, with a lovely patio as well as indoor seating. The cuisine is inventive Puerto Rican. If you think you know Puerto Rican cuisine, you don’t until you’ve eaten here. The dishes here... More

It took forever! But, they were jammed and the kitchen was temporarily understaffed. We were on vacation. We forgave and we ate! One of the best meals I have eaten in PR (of @ 60 meals). Superb rice and beans. Superb ribs. Perfect chicken. Genuinely flavorful seafood mofongo. generous drinks, and wonderful little gifts from the kitchen appear at your... More
