Have to try this place if you are staying in San Juan. Miramar is a cool little section in the city and we decided to try this litte place. Opens for dinner at 6PM. Staff was excellent, all the food we had was out of this world down to the desserts. The place itself it really cool and the folks... More

For an authentic Puerto Rican experience, I was informed to visit this restaurant. It is a small restaurant located on the porch of a former home so pls make a reservation if possible. The food was very flavorful. Most of the dishes were flavorful and worth the visit. It is a quaint restaurant with excellent service. One dish was not... More

The food was some of the best flavor we have experienced in Puerto Rico over the two years we have lived here! Prices are very reasonable and it has a quaint atmosphere we loved!

Cassava Mofongo...that is all I have to say! Sit outdoors on the 2nd floor patio. Even on a hot San Juan night, you will feel like you are in heaven. Such a cool neighborhood, and a great restaurant.

I have been going to Casita de Miramar since it opened a few years ago. I must say it has rarely disappointed me. The menu changes daily, from bbq ribs in guava sauce to fricase de pollo, and some fish entrees for those who don't eat meat. In my opinion, the best puertorrican food served in a restaurant in PR.... More

This restaurant was small and adorable. The service was great - the waiters were hilarious and were really good at giving recommendations. The plantain soup on the house was a really nice touch and the food was very savory and cooked well. No complaints, except the restaurant was quite pricey! Definitely worth it, though!

Liked- Cod chips, cocktails, wait staff, atmosphere. EVERYTHING. Seriously, like this place was amazing. Please note, we don't speak Spanish and we didn't have any problems with that. Best food we had the whole trip. I had lab and my husband had the seafood mufungo (sp?). Make sure you save room for dessert. The flan and 3 milk cake were... More

We visited this run down place for a late lunch on Sunday, after a recommendation from a friend. We arrived at the place around 3pm, you go up the stairs and enter the narrow dining room (long and narrow). When we got there, there was a big table - around 8 or 10 people, having dessert. There were about 4... More

This is my favorite restaurant in San Juan. It serves typical Puerto Rican dishes, but in a gourmet style. The food is great and the service is excellent. Also, try the sangria that they make with either acerola or parch (passion fruit) juice. it is wonderful and refreshing and all made from fresh fruit. Do note that this is not... More
