We stopped here based on the recommendation of a nearby shop owner and I am glad we did. We had some yummy cocktails and some great Puerto Rican cuisine. I had the shrimp and sweet plantain mofongo which was absolutely delicious. The others in my party had one of the daily specials and were very pleased with their choice. If... More

We happened to be at this restaurant on its first birthday. The owner was having a great time. The street was quiet, the plantain lasagna was DIVINE, sitting outside was lovely, and the cod fritters were exactly what we needed after a very long day of walking and exploring.

Located on a narrow street across from a plaza is this little restaurant which serves a great Puerto Rican cuisine. The staff is very patient and described all the ingredients that go into each dish. Arrived just as they were opening for dinner and already there was a line waiting outside to get in. Seats were continually filled at the... More

The mufungo is the cafe specialty and was super delicious each of us (4) got a different protein shrimp, grouper, chicken, and skirt steak. All were perfectly cooked. The drinks were strong and very flavorful. For desert we all had the tres leches and it was amazing. Cold and sweet and sprinkled with cinnamon. It was the best end to... More

I visited this restaurant for lunch and had the Mofongo with Bacalao(cod). It was a truly delicious experience. The cod was cooked perfectly and the mofongo was smooth and tasty. I ordered a sangria which was good but had too much juice and tasted a bit more fruity than usual. The staff was friendly and a good plus is that... More

This is one of the best cafes we have ever visited. There was a wait, but well worth it. Very small inside, but cool and comfortable but they also have outside seating. The staff was excellent, the food outstanding and the local beer great. I had Ceviche and my husband had Filete de carne empanada. We had the local beer... More

Went here twice in two weeks, which tells you it was a favorite! The mojitos were generally very good, with one round being slightly off.... The mofongo comes in three styles: green plantain mash, combo green/sweet plantain, and cassava/yucca mashed. The latter tastes sort of like crispy potato. The fillings were incredibly varied - from grouper to skirt steak to... More
