My wife and I visited Cafe Puerto Rico for dinner and absolutely loved it. The mofongo and skirt steak were amazing. The wait staff was very helpful and entertaining. Reservations are a must. Even in the off season. Call before you go. We did and it helped tremendously.

Had a fellow toursit tell me this was the best place to eat. So off I went to find it. Tucked in among stores near a big town square. Seemed to be a favorite of local businessmen also. The food was good the prices fair and service excellent. Alittle slow to fnally get our meals but they were busy. Also,... More

My daughter and I ate outside under the umbrellas on a warm summer evening and enjoyed the scenery. My daughter said the flank steak was the best steak she has ever had! The waiter and waitress were very friendly and the prices were very reasonable!

This place is small but was still able to accommodate a group of 10 people for dinner. We had a good meal made up of all traditional Puerto Rican dishes. Great service. Call ahead for a reservation or you can try your luck at walkup if you are a small group.

We tried the famous puerto rican mofongo de pollo here. The food was excellent although a little pricey but no surprise here since the restaurant is located in the heart of old San Juan. The atmosphere and the restaurant itself were amazing but the best part was our waitress the sweet and amazing Roxanna! So attentive and thoughtful, she made... More

This is one of several restaurants we frequent every time we visit Old San Juan. We love the cozy atmosphere, music, & we especially love the food. The arroz con pollo is my favorite but everything we've eaten here has been very good. My only minor complaint would be that the restaurant is small which can make the waiting time... More

This is a small cafe that seats around 30 people inside. Very cozy inside with Puerto Rican music. We started with a local fruit drink called Pacha. It tasted like a passionfruit drink and was really refreshing on a hot humid day. Our server was terrific and really helpful with the menu. We had an appetizer, bandeja surtida, that was... More
