they dont use lard and pork in their mofongo, so it was nice for us since we dont eat pork. We had the seafood mofongo, which was awesome! One of the best restaurants in old san juan

Everyone is telling us "Going to Puerto Rico? Gotta try mofongo." So, we did. I can now say I'm in love. We went to this place because those same folks said they did it the best. A curious dish. The outside and top were crisp, but tender, the inside was softer, but still retained the yucca's identity. My shrimp was... More

Referred by National park employee. Centrally located in Old San Juan. We had the chicken mofongo with a side salad, which was delicious. Large portions. Salad dressing was fantastic. Mojitos were good but to much mint for my taste.

We just had the Yucca Grouper Mofongo with Cajun Sauce for lunch, and it was great. The atmosphere was pleasant and the staf was friendly and helpful.

This restaurant is off the square in Old San Juan. It was recommended to us by one of the store owners we had visited earlier. Quick prompt service. Their ceviche was very good. The mofungo as well. Give it a try if you're in the area.

Excellent Mofongo with a great service in the hart of Old San Juan. Across the street from Plaza Colón. Must stop here if in San Juan. Go give it a try. Very casual dining here.

Went to eat here in Old San Juan, we should have kept walking a little further and saved our money. The food was cold when served. When they describe the food you get the idea that it is going to be a gastro delight, instead you get something that could have come out of the frozen section at grocery store.... More

We've eaten a quite a few restaurants around Puerto Rico, but I think this one top our list. We actually had planned in a different restaurant for the evening but it was closed. This was a recommendation from the front desk gals at Chateau Cerventes. It is small so we ended up waiting about 30 mins, well worth the wait!... More

A short walk up from the cruise ships, on the left side of the O'donnel Plaza, we enjoyed an outside table overlooking the plaza. The local Mofongo Rellano is a fried dough which came in the shape of a small bowl stuffed with a choice of fillings (yucca/cassava or plaintain (slightly sweet) or sweet plaintain (more sweet) with nice chunks...
