My experience was not bad at all, and I would recommend it, however there is room for improvement. The servers were quick and very amiable but they didn't check on us every now and then, so we'd have to actually wave at them to get their attention if we needed something. We were celebrating my dad's 60th birthday and we... More

This was the second restaurant where the lights when out on our group (two nights in a row)! Imagine that luck! However, unlike at our previous night's restaurant, they were still able to cook our meals as they use gas. We chatted with the owner (very nice guy!) when we were leaving and he told us that his staff is... More

We were referred here by some locals who told us it was excellent. Maybe this was just an off night but we were really disappointed. First, when we walked into the building on the first floor and asked the front desk staff how to get to the restaurant the guy pointed at the elevator without even looking at us and... More

This place is on a roof top of the Milano hotel has indoor and outdoor seating on a nice veranda, the churrasco mofongo in garlic sauce was perfect, also the shrimp mofongo in creole sauce ... 2 for 1 mojitos is a good deal but they were just ok

Recently relocated to the roof of the Hotel Milano in Old San Juan, Punto de Vista features the same fine "criollo" food it had at the old location by the cruise ships, but now there's an equally fine view of the bay and the rooftops of Old San Juan to go with it. And it gets even better if Paulina... More

Yes, the cheese fries with beef was an afterthought after reading a Yelp review, but they were awesome. Our family of 5 all went with Mofongos for the main dish and between steak, chicken and fried pork, steak was the overall favorite. We're not drinkers, so the 2 for 1 Mojitos didn't play a role in the rating, but if... More

I visited San Juan with the Disney Fantasy Ship, and researched Spanish Restaurants. The Punto De Vista was at the top of all lists. The interior is not fancy, but it has nice views of the cruise ships. It's conveniently located near the cruise ships at the top of the Milano Hotel, in the heart of the shopping district. It's... Our family went here for our first meal on our trip to Puerto Rico and had a great overall experience--the food was a great representation of Puerto Rican food and the drinks were tasty. We were pleased with the prices and the service was phenomenal-- Also, view of the city and the port was a great bonus.

This was one of the two choices I picked for a lunch visit in Old San Juan. Following our City Tour, which ended in OSJ, this happened to be the place we came to first. There was a gentleman outside with a lunch menu who answered our questions and pointed out the many specials available. We took the elevator to... More

Their new hotel-rooftop location doesn't have the greatest view, but it's cute, and a big improvement over the noisy street corner across from the cruise ship dock where they used to be. Good traditional PR food, friendly service, and decent prices.
