Awesome dinner

We at here on our last night in San Juan. The wait was long because it's so popular. It's in am area called La Placita which is a local area with a bunch of restaurants and bars. OMG! Even though I don't usually like fried food, their poppers as an appy, and lobster dinner were OUT OF THIS WORLD! Others in my party also had fish dinners that were mouth wateringly delicious. Go early as they don't take reservations and you'll be waiting for a while but they do have a bar.

Don't leave Puerto Rico without stopping by and experiencing the culinary masterpiece serve at Jose Enrique. To get there you must take a taxi. It cost us $20 from the Marriott Hotel, and tell the taxi driver to come back and pick you up. The restaurant looks like a house from the outside. Make sure you get there early because... More

We couldn't wait to eat at Jose Enrique and were very excited when the wait wasn't very long. This little restaurant located near La Placita is one of the most popular places in San Juan today. The service is impeccable and the food is magnificent. We shared a number of dishes including fish fritters, sausage, mahi mahi and a flat... More

If you are in San Juan visit La Placita and eat at Jose Enrique. The food is excellent. We had the snapper as an appetizer which was butterflied and fried. Not greasy and well seasoned. I had the swordfish for my main dish which was served with papaya and mashed plantain which added a nice sweet flavor. My husband had... More

My wife and I ate dinner here after locals recommended. Very cool atmosphere, you would miss the place if cab driver had not dropped us off at front door. Get the yellowtail! Best meal of the trip!

I love this restaurant. Its a hip, energetic place locals go to unwind and eat well. Its consistent and generous in portion sizes; it showcases local cuisine in an unpretentious setting. The "Colirubia" (local fish) is a perennial favorite dish to order. Don't forget to pair your meal with a bar concoction featuring the freshly squeezed fruit juices (grapefruit, passion... More

My wife and I decided to go down to La Placita. We were walking around the La Placita area ( I was on crutches) looking for a good place to eat. We happened upon a little Pink house without a sign, but it had a lot of people gathered around. We saw a white board with food listed on it.... More

This restaurant is in a well known area, and safe. Lots of tourist. Food is just out of this world. You have to arrive early or you will be waiting for hours. Once you sit down its way worth the wait. Dont drive there take a cab, there is no where to park. Very Casual and fun. GREAT FOOD AND... More

This was some of the best food I have ever had. Even my mom who is not a foodie whatsoever enjoyed it. The menu is different every night. I had the most delicious swordfish, appetizers and sangria. Our server was so personable and fun. I can't even put into words how amazing the food was but give it a try... More
