This restaurant is located at one of the most iconic hangout places in Puerto Rico, La Plaza del Mercado de Santurce aka "La Placita" and this already makes it one of the best located restaurants. The food here is amazing and very polished. This is puerto rican food taken to the next and best level in taste and flavors. Been... More

I ate there alone on a Friday night, after a 90-min wait at the bar. The service was very inconsistent. The hostess and the guy named Jason were super attentive. The two bartenders? Not so much, especially the girl. She could not be bothered to even bring me the menu. Really?! Now let's talk about the food. The crab fritter... More

Jose Enrique's 5stars in the heart of San Juan and well worth ginding. Succulent food, great local atmosphere and the most creative dishes by local Jose Enrique from Vieques who's refined his skills between NYC to New Orleans & beyond. A definite add to your restaurant hit list. Enjoy!

We ate here last evening 8/26/14. We had read that this a must from Food & Wine magazine and of course went straight to our Trip Advisor reviews to validate. Yes! All true! The appetizers, the wine, the main course.., all exceptional. A must go to when in San Juan. The location is cool too. It's tucked in a neighborhood... More

A tour guide recommended this restaurant to my daughter and I. It was about a 15 minute walk from our hotel; we followed the GPS on a phone. Still, we had to ask a local to point it out. It's just a dark pink house that open up to a super busy restaurant and bar. We ordered mojitos and waited... More

Came here because it was recommended. First, it is hard to find because it isn't marked at all - no signage, nothing. You may have to ask, but look for the pink building. Our waiters were very good and attentive. I have nothing to complaint about there. We both felt our food was over salted. For appetizers, we had crab... More

I've be reading a lot about this restaurant and had to check this place out. They don't take reservations and wait time could be as long as 2 hours, so we got there just after opening. We still had to wait but only 30 minutes and we had drinks at the bar. Their menus for appetizers and main courses are... More

Nice, hidden place. Where most locals go. Great food. It's puertorrican food gourmet style. Must try the tembleque custard. The best tembleque that I've ever had! Everything was delicious. It's a bit small, and it doesn't have any signs outside, so you must look for a pinkish small house in front of a valet parking.

I was looking forward to eat here, I saw the chef's review on international travels magazines and read the reviews here. My experience. Lication: Yes the restaurant is hard to find for non-locals but I visit la placita everytime i am here so i found it. For tourists just ask around. Wait: It was around 1hr, but it was expected... We ate here on a Tuesday night and only had to wait 5 minutes for a table for 3, although had we arrived later than 6:30pm the wait would have been much longer. I love the huge variety of fresh juices on the menu and our cocktails (mojito and margarita) we're ok. Our server was great at recommending items from... More
