Stumbled in here for dinner my last evening in SJ: prices were very affordable, the food just fine, and the wine, well, it worked. Not haute cuisine, but not awful: a good, simple value.

This restaurant is mighty convenient especially if staying at the La Concha Resort. It is open 24 hours so makes a good choice for late night snacks after a night on the town. My friends and I ate here a couple times and although I certainly wouldn't consider it a culinary destination I will say that the emapanadillas alone are... More

We ate breakfast at Latin Star 3 mornings of our 5 day stay in San Juan. Very good and reasonable prices. Wish we could have made it to have lunch or dinner.

The snapper is so yummy! It's open 24-hrs so that is cool if your out roaming around for a meal at any time and it is affordable.

this restaurant was down the street from our hotel. upon going in we were expecting big things..they have a HUGE menu, we all were like ..oh yeah this is gonna be awesome...(me, hubby, son, daughter, nephew, sister, and my mom)..I ordered a chicken and rice stew type dish...ehhh it was just ok, my sister and mom had chicken and rice...not... I visited Latin Star thinking it was the same restaurant that occupied the building 2-3 years ago. That restaurant had delicious food at a reasonable price, but Latin Star does not. When our food eventually came (we almost left and we never do that), it was lukewarm and very bland. There were warmed over soggy frozen vegetables in my dish.... More

This restaurant was in walking distance from our hotel and open 24 hours! The menu was HUGE with traditional Puerto Rican offerings as well as American food. My friend had the Mufongo and loved it. One evening I opted for the grilled chicken and avocado salad. What I thought would have been a plain dish was plentiful and flavorful! This... More

I've NEVER given a 1 star in all of my reviews but this place definitely deserves my first. Believe the terrible reviews it has gotten and go somewhere else. First off, $5 for an orange juice? The fettuccini Alfredo had absolutely no flavor and the chicken croquets were gross. Nobody ever came to check on us to see if the... More

The food here was absolutely disgusting... If you do choose to eat here, I suggest you smell your food before eating. However, I would not recommend this place to anyone!!! I was left with the nastiest taste in my mouth after one bite. My husband and I did not eat anything we ordered. BE Careful of this place... Not worth... More

This place is good because they're open 24/7. Word of advice go for something simple. Something very Puerto Rican. So you don't empty your pockets. If you would like something fancy your better off at barrachina or Vaca brava in old San Juan. This place is great for a nice lunch not a fancy dinner.
