Came here as part of the Flavors of San Juan walking tour. Had a ham and cheese on Mallorca bread and mango ice tea. Food was absolutely delicious.
We have been cruising to San Juan for years, we are crew members, we have seen and done everything but we continue to come back to this wonderful quaint restaurant. My husband and I are always greeted by the Manager and have the best meals here. Thank you for years of great service and food. Jojo
We have been dinning in Old San Juan for 21 years for all 3 meals and never seen Aromas. By far it is better and finer than some of the better known breakfast places there. The prices are reasonable for the level of flavor, service, and presentation of the dishes. Although it is a little bit apart from the main... More
Me and my little princes had lunch here and it was good but the lack of good service and the food took almost 45 minutes!!! I asked what was taking so long and they keep saying it will just one more minute. The food was good but the service was disappointing.
A group of us were here on a Saturday morning about 10 am, and when we walked in it was empty. The service was okay but the food took a HUGE amount of time to come out especially for being the only ones in the restaurant. I had the french toast which was good but certainly nothing to write home... More
I can't give Aromas an "excellent" rating just on breakfast, but we will try lunch there next time that we are in San Juan. The colors and decorating are bright and modern. They had the largest breakfast menu we saw in five days in San Juan. Our food and coffee were great. I wish we had found this place on... More
We went here because the other place we wanted to go had a pretty long wait. This place was completely empty. That had me wondering why, if the place is quiet on a weekend morning there must be some reason. The service was okay but even though we were the only ones in the place (until we were almost done... The food is Good. The service is bad. Employees talking at personal phones, The waiter was lost after taking the order. No one picked up the dishes after finish.
We stopped in during our Flavors of San Juan Food Tour (highly recommend) and had the best pina colada during our entire trip. They served us some fried plantans and chicken which were both okay. I would try this place again and actually have a meal.
My husband and I visit PR every year. This was our first time in Aromas and we went twice in one week! We had to bring my family back to check it out. The breakfast platters are a great value and the food is tasty and well prepared. We tried eggs, omelets, pancakes french toast...you name it. The best in... More
