Reception was warm and welcoming and we were promptly seated. Staff was friendly and attentive throughout. The food however was not the true local flavor, neither the seasoning or the ingredients were authentic. For example the alcapurrias were made with only green bananas and not green plantains and which made them too soft and soggy therefore overly greasy. The mofongo... More

We went here twice while visiting San Juan and both times it was excellent. The first night was very quiet but the staff and owners were awesome! Extremely friendly! The owner welcomed us at the door and later came to our table and treated us like family. The food - amazing! This was our first foray into Puerto Rican cuisine... More

To be clear, this restaurant is not only Puerto Rican dishes, but actually more of a menu you would find in Spain. The appetizers with manchego cheese were absolutely delicious. All of the dishes were beautifully presented and the food was of the freshest ingredients. We ate lunch here, so did not partake of the paellas (again, typically Spanish, not... More

We were looking for a place to eat in Old San Juan. I ordered the Shrimp, scallop, and artichoke paella. It was delicious, but it took over an hour to get our food. The Manager gave us a free appetizer, which was nice. I don't know why it was so slow, it was on a Saturday, about 4pm and it... More

Very nice lady received us and brought the menu. We ordered mojitos. They came within 15 minutes . Long considering... More

80 bucks for a family of 3 and we left hungry . So...we found an authentic place down the road that the locals eat at and fed everybody again for under 20 and that food was amazing. Skip this one there are eateries all over town.

We stopped by after walking around Old San Juan. It is a beautiful restaurant with amazing food and wonderful staff. We loved it so much that we came back the next night for dinner. My husband is a vegetarian and instead of ordering from the menu, they prepared a special dish for him. We highly recommend and we will come... More

The food was really good, like 5 star good. It was a little expensive though. The mofongo relleno pollo and all of the Paellas were great. The Sangria was really good too. Definitely recommend if you're in the area and want a good sit down meal.

Eating gluten free while traveling can sometimes be hit or miss. This was definitely a HIT. The menu says Gluten Free options available, and the wait staff answered my questions and made recommendations. The Mofongo and Seafood Paella were very good. The house "hot sauce" has a nice amount of kick as well as nice "black pepper" profile. Different and... More
