Great traditional food with a upscale touch

Went for lunch, our group tried different types of mofongo, salmon an I had the asopao which is a traditional rice dish. Food was excellent and the place is very well decorated. Service was slow, the flavor of the dishes made up for it.

My friends and I enjoyed a delicious breakfast here! The service was also very pleasant. All the morning cocktails were also delicious! We could definitely tell they were made with love. We loved this place and will definitely be back on our next visit to Puerto Rico. Thank you Cafe Marquesa.

We tried this place on a Thursday morning at 10:30am and this place was completely empty. I assume it gets really really busy and more boisterous on weekends as per the other reviews so if you don't want to wait, go on a weekday! This holds especially true if you have a larger group as I could see it taking... More

Cafe Marquesa is a hidden gem in San Juan with regards to the ever growing food fad in Puerto Rico...brunch. Who doesn't like brunch?!? If your like me, you love it, and Cafe Marquesa is a great place for it. Don't believe me? I have three words for you... red velvet pancakes! The coffee is good and the service is... More

Even though Café Marquesa only opens from Wednesdays to Sundays it still a place where you can have a nice and quiet breakfast (not on weekends!) and enjoy the good service. Red Velvet Pancakes are to die for with that unbelievable glaze that I cant just forget! Benedict egs, El Diego Sandwich and basically the breakfast menu is delicious. For... More

Eggs florentine and Benedict are fantastic. Served with a small side of red potatoes, it's just the right size. The place was packed and we were seated and served right away. High quality tea and coffee too! We would definitely go back.

This place is a hidden gem in san juan. Weekends brunch is amazing. The red velvet pancakes are to die for but every single brunch item I have tried has been amazing. The special cocktails prepared here are amazing. A lot of attention to the details on their preparation. Every time i go there for brunch i end up staying... More

Breakfast can be served anywhere and has the same items but this is what attention to details and great produce can create. They are the best breakfast in town.
