Tasty , friendly...excellent!

The food here has a homemade flavor. It is done with expertise by very good cooks.I love their fresh fruit frappes ...specially the one with "guanabana".Their ceviche is outstanding and their soups are incredible...fresh viandas are the best. You should try their tostones!A must!

Found this place while on a food tour (Flavors) and loved it so much we came back just a few days later. Get the grouper ceviche stuffed avocado.

Visited here as part of the Flavors of Old San Juan food tour. I went back the same day for dinner. The craft store is cool, the staff is very attentive and cool and the food and drinks were excellent! It has a very cool vibe which I loved.

My significant other and I did about 2-3 days of research prior to traveling to San Juan with regards to restaurants, beaches, attractions, etc., so that we wouldn't waste too much time while there. Cafe el Punto is a hidden little gem--the front entrance/hallway is essentially a gift shop so unless you know it's there or like snooping around, you... More

WE found this little jewel while shopping next door. A first sight it doesn't seem much but the food is outstanding. We had an avocado stuffed with veggies and shrimp and we had the vegetable mofango, as well as fried cheese and salsa. The avocado was so big and so good, it tasted fresh picked. We enjoyed very bite and found... More

Lunch was excellent. Not fancy, but great spot. Good selection. Fresh food. Solid service. Will return next time we're in San Juan.

As we strolled the streets, I recognized the restaurant name from when I was researching a food tour experience that we wanted sign up for but did not pan out. So we decided to take a break and get a bite to eat. The staff was really friendly. We ordered the avocado with shrimp and rice and beans and the... More

While exploring Old San Juan on a recent trip here, I stopped in for a late lunch to this small cafe. You have to walk past a few souvenir shops to get back to this hole in the wall restaurant which features a few different rooms. After perusing the menu with Puerto Rican specialties, I couldn't resist ordering the half... More
