Excellent place to eat in Old San Juan

The food is delicious. The people are very friendly. The service is fast. The prices are moderate. The menu is varied. I had stuffed mofongo with churrasco. The meat was temder and cooked to perfection. The mofongo was moist. The beans were well seasoned. I highly recommend this place.

We got a recommendation from a local to eat here. It was fantastic. We all got something a little different but I though mine was the best. Stuffed avocado with chicken. They have really good fried green plantains too. Portions are pretty big but walking around Old San Juan we worked up an appetite. Very friendly staff too. They have... More

The best Mojito's on the island. Great service and great food. This is definitely a hidden gem. I highly recommend the empanadas.

Beautiful atmosphere, delicious food, and very friendly staff. Inexpensive, and authentic Puerto Rican food set in a very cool location in the heart of Old San Juan.

If you are visiting Ole Curiosidades, stop next door for an authentic Puerto Rican meal. Staff is friendly and efficient, they understand gluten free dining as well. We had avocado stuffed with beef, chicken or shrimp. Spiced beautifully, mojitos are the best I have had in this trip. The place is not much to look at, but the food was... More

Wonderful, fresh food. Fast and friendly service. I had the avocado with skirt steak, Chilean salad (like a pico de gallo) and fried plantains. Everyone's meal was great!

A wonderful, local "hole in the wall" which specializes in FRESH. Most especially juice. Pick a fruit and they juice and serve. We ordered typical Puerto Rican food - plantains, rice and beans. The avocado stuffed with your choice of topping are to die for. The staff were beyond delightful! Make this your number one lunch spot.

Went here on a "Taste of Old San Juan Tour" I must say that the ceviche is great and tasty!! We also had a empanada that was filled with beef which also was great. They also had a lot of local art on display!

We like local restaurants when we travel, and don't tend to ask a concierge for a recommendation. The hubby found this little gem on Yelp, and it's a keeper. It's tiny and tucked back in an old building that has local artists' wares in the walkway. There is nothing pretentious about it, but the food and service are excellent! Martin... More
