Very good Mofongo

stopped for lunch, very good food had ropa vieja mofongo and pina coladas both very good- one thing to remember with all restaurants in PR, servers work at their own pace if you are in a hurry get fast food otherwise sit back relax and enjoy! its worth it.

We went for lunch and were pleasantly surprised because the outside is a little unassuming. My husband and I split a chicken meal which was on point. It is a great local place to eat for homemade PR food, especially if you're trying to grab a quick bite for lunch.

We have eaten twice at this restaurant close to the cruise ship terminal, and both times the food has been outstanding. They seem to specialize in Mufongo, which they interpret in the traditional way; ripe, fried plantain is used to line a mould which is then filled with a choice of beef, pork, chicken or jumbo shrimp, and a rice/bean... The Mofungo is a must to try. We had the fried pork version. It's like a wonderful tamale only instead of cornmeal, the outer wrapping is a garlic flavored mashed plantain. We split one between the two of us as it was quite large. We also had the traditional rice and beans with it. The beans were the best tasting... More

Disinterested servers, drinks were below average at best. The menu had nothing worth considering. Take a walk further down the street.

Recommended by hotel staff. A great recommendation because we went 3 times to eat during our stay. The tamarind mojito is good, soups are outstanding. Just try everything...

We spent the day in Old San Juan and decided on Mojitos for lunch. At first the service was a little stand-offish but that went away once we got our drink orders in. I have a Mojito (of course) which was delicious. I got mofongo and my boyfriend had a breaded chicken (I can't remember the name) and both were... More

While in Old San Juan several locals told us to try this place for authentic PR food as opposed to some of the more heavily advertised places that target the tourists. This place was great and we would go back. It was Easter Weekend and the place was packed with locals. Fast friendly service at good prices. Great cocktails too.... More

We had come from El Yunque National Forest all day and went into Old San Juan. We walked up and down the streets for a while and decided on Mojotos. The service lacked professionalism, but the meal/food was excellent. I would recommend it but know that once you order you will never see your waitress again. No one ever came... More

We quickly found that service was lacking in Old San Juan (and likely the whole of Puerto Rico) but Mojitos was the first place we came to upon our late night arrival and they set the bar pretty high. Our pink haired waitress was very sweet and though there was still a small language barrier, we got some of the... More
