After walking around the fort in June, we were hungry and thirsty. We informed the lady at the visitor center that we had selective eating children, that might not want authentic Puerto Rican cuisine. She recommended this place and it was awesome. It was a good place to dodge in out of the rain. I had a beef/chorizo burger and my wife had the Trifongo. The food was what I expected. Not fantastic but good for the price.

I stopped here to grab a quick and light lunch. It wasn't busy, which was very nice. The staff was friendly and welcoming and spoke pretty good English. I ordered the Caesar salad with churrasco. They were out of croutons, so they made some from scratch for me. The salad was good and exactly what I was looking for. The... More

Great food and helpful service. Trifongo is awesome! Great hidden gem. Learned about it from visitors center lady a block away and she took us to the place and got us a table. Awesome!

Such a delightful "hole in the wall" with many choices. Two at our table had the fish tacos. Said they were the best they had ever had. My husband and I had the Trifongo with chicken. Very delicious!! And we also shared a skirt steak Bistec plate with rice and beans which was also very flavorful! So glad we found... More

A comprehensive menu, tapas and mains all freshly cooked. It's inexpensive and tastes wonderful. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. As a tourist you could easily bypass this place for a more celubrious restaurant but if you don't try it, it's your big miss.

We stumbled onto this place through the help of someone working a nearby visitor's booth. She walked us to Fefo's and made herself known that she'd brought two more people in. At first we felt we'd been duped as there were so many locals wanting to take us to their favorite authentic eateries (and I'm sure get paid to do... More

Great place to eat if you just looking for good local food at very reasonable prices. If you get any appetizers you can easily split an entre or sandwich. We had mixture of seafood and Puertorican pork as well as a deep fried chicken appetizer all of which were very good.
