With lots of advance research, I picked St. Germain Bistro for our first night because of great reviews and healthy vegetarian options. I imagine if I lived in San Juan, this would be a great pick. But as a visitor, I can't remember now why I chose someplace with "French" cuisine. Sunday night was Crepe night, and they didn't offer... More

I admit, I've become a regular at St. Germain, and when I look at the other guests, I'm not the only one who enjoys coming here repeatedly. I really enjoy their cuisine, both from a taste and health perspective. Whether you have their signature soup and quiche combo, one of their numerous salads with an excellent dressing, or a sandwich,... More

This is a french bistro on the first floor, not too fancy just good, and then on the second floor its a very cool tapas bar with genious jazz. So fun, and so delicious.

Based on other reviews, decided to try for lunch. Small, crowded, clean, noisy but tolerable because food was fresh and tasty. Service was a bit slow because of the crowd. Decided upon second visit for Sunday brunch that they cater to the locals. We were seated first but the locals were attended to and served first. Creative and fresh ideas... More

Fresh feel. Off the beaten path which is nice. Savory menu with great service. Ate there twice, once for lunch and then for breakfast. 3-4 blocks from El Convento.

Agree with all reviewers. One of the best restaurants in Old San Juan. Tatiana was our server and after a jam packed serving room, she was full of cheer and delight to serve us. Mango magaritas made by Ashley were fantastic. Skirt steak sandwich and Picolo salad were top notch.

Delicious Sandwich de Avocado and lots of good service. Great relaxing atmosphere in Old San Juan. Do not forget to come with that significant other, you will never forget it. Enjoy!

Just finished a nice lunch here. Husband and I both had sandwiches that were fantastic. We also had two nice cocktails and key lime pie. Will come back next time.

Located on a corner in the narrow cobblestone streets of Old San Juan, the St. Germain blends in with the surrounding buildings and can be easy to miss. If not for the name and logo printed on the glass door, we might have walked right past it. We went due to the very high reviews and were not disappointed. the... More
