A gem

I met friends at St. Germain for dinner and wasn't sure what to expect upon entering the three storied building on a narrow street across from a church in Old San Juan. I found my companions at a corner table seated on benches. The tables and the walls are painted white and artwork is... read more

I met friends at St. Germain for dinner and wasn't sure what to expect upon entering the three storied building on a narrow street across from a church in Old San Juan. We went there twice during our jaunt in the old town and we loved it - once during happy hours and once during the day. The place has a nice feel to it and the perfect setting to unwind and enjoy some great food and drinks. There is a very unhurried feel to it with some very friendly staff. A... More

I am a vegetarian. They made a tomato pesto mozarella basil sandwich on fresh bread that I can't stop thinking about. Lots of options, great service, wonderful food.

St. Germain on the street level is a lovely and charming bistro with French based salads, sandwiches and small plates. Mezzanine level is a charming bar with small salons, very old-school and appropriately distressed. The rooftop bar offers tapas, cocktails and a... More

It was a super cute cafe with organic/sustainable food. It was about $20 for a mojito and sand which, just not my scene, pricey and seemed like a hippy-dippy place to find back in the states. Try the wine bar upstairs though!

We ate here twice. Very friendly folks. We had steak sandwiches and pitas and they were delicious. They have fresh lemonade with flavors that vary with the season - we had fresh mango and strawberry lemonade. And then we had their nutella crepe and oh man that was awesome!

We came here on Sunday evening and it happen to be 20% off wine and crepes. I got a bottle of sangria and order apple cinnamon crepe. It was a good place to unwind from all the walking in Old San Juan. I didn't try the main course but the ingredient look very organic and fresh. Come by Sunday and... More
