Mallorca to die for

The service was a bit slow, but it was very busy birth times we went, so that's understandable. The food is very comforting and coffee is strong.

We were staying in Old San Juan for a couple days before a cruise & were looking for places to eat. We didn't find this place till the second day for breakfast...wish we would've found it first! We ate breakfast at another restaurant the day before & it was well over $30 for just my husband & I and the... More

While visiting old San Juan I was told to try Cafeteria Mallorca. I was too late for breakfast which I'm told is really good, so I just had lunch. I got the house special sandwich, which was uninspiring, but the other food being served around me looked really good. I will have to get suggestions on what to order next... More

By far the best breakfast we had on the trip. A gem in old San Juan. Mallorca with ham and swiss was my go to. Kids lived it too

If you love guava pastries, go here. A lot of guava paste inside. Good cafe con leche also. Can't ask for a better breakfast or afternoon snack.

I came here for breakfast. You know it's good when the local cops are sitting at the counter eating breakfast. My mom and I split a guava pastry and a ham & cheese mallorca. Both were excellent. I would definitely return for a good local breakfast.

We stopped in here for our first lunch in Old San Juan as it was highly recommended by our hotel. It did not disappoint. I tried Mofongo for the first time and it was delicious! We sat at the bar and our server hung around and chatted us up. Super friendly fellow. I'd highly recommend a stop here!

I usually refrain from reviewing places that have tons of other reviews, unless something is different. Their coffee is intended to be con leche or cubano, and it (cough) could use these 'improvements' if you take it black.

We stopped here for breakfast. Place is a bit crowded but wait is not long. Good hearty breakfast with homemade bread at a decent price. Baked goods looked fabulous but sorry to say we didn't get a chance to try any.
