Billy!

Billy was our waiter and was very friendly and helpful. His recommendations were spot on and the food was great. Thanks Billy!! Would have given 5 stars but I felt my cocktails were a bit light on the booze.

The staff at Aguaviva was so welcoming and friendly. We made reservations in advance for a large group of 12 for a bachelorette party. Our table was ready when we arrived, and the service was great throughout the meal. The food was fresh, and everyone enjoyed their meal. On our way out, the host gave us recommendations for places to... More

Too much salt in/on our food made our evening disappointing. Salt is a search weapon of chefs but once over done it ruins meals. Baked red snapper ordered was over cooked, as well. Diver scallops with seafood risotto was good but again salty. Not all was lost, Ceviche was great as were the cocktails. Service was good though the list... More

Lots of restaurants in this area of Viejo San Juan, but this is one of the slickest and most popular. If you're an oyster fan, this is your place, and for fresh seafood, hard to go wrong. We loved the lobster and shrimp risotto, just out of this world. Pan fried mahi mahi, grouper, sauteed shrimp with garlic, all delicious.... More

This is a very good restaurant. Service was perfect. I had Mahi Mahi. It was cooked perfectly. Ceviche selection is excellent. Very tasty. 5 of us had appetizers, main course and two drinks each we shared two desserts. With tip a little over $500.

Aguaviva was absolutely amazing! We walked in with no reservation and they sat us without a problem. My nephew, who is 5, is a slightly picky eater and they were so sweet about preparing him something delicious! Billy was our waiter and he took amazing care of us. The food was beyond exceptional. I had the Wild Salmon and my... More

My husband & I dined at Aquaviva on May 6th. From start to finish it was amazing and so much fun! Deanna was our waitress, and she is so enthusiastic and fun loving. Her recommendations were spot on perfect for our dinner. We had the Mojitos, Shrimp & Lobster Gnocchi appetizer, Grilled Dorado and the Seared Shrimp. All of the... More

Nice and cool after spending an afternoon exploring the historic sites of Old San Juan. Bright ocean colors, fun lighting looks like jelly fish floating overhead. Our water (Emanuel) was super friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. We shared the Spicy Mahi Mahi as an appetizer and it was very good. My husband is a big seafood lover and... More

If you like seafood this is a great spot. Both of the dishes we had were great. Scallops and the fish were great, the appetizers including the ceviche were great. I like the central location if you want to stop by other local spot and extend your experience. The staff there was friendly and prompt adding to the great atmosphere... More

We recently returned to Aguaviva, having first gone two years ago. At this point, we were beyond impressed with the quality of the food and the outstanding service. This time, I believe, was even better. Despite the presence of a large corporate outing (taking up about 2/3 of the restaurant), our server, Billy, was spot-on in every respect. He began... More
