Birthday dinner

We had a fabulous time. Our server, Emmanuel was exceptional- polite, knowledgeable and happy. We loved the rendition of "Happy birthday" that the waitstaff sung to my husband. I recommend the red snapper and mahi but you might want to ask them to make sure it isn't well done, other than that the... read more

What an awesome night we had! Started with complimentary shots, then followed by 3 fantastic courses. Party of 6 and ALL were thrilled with the meal and the service. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Puerto Rico. Very pretty restaurant too!

We were greeted and welcomed in by Carolina and served by Diana. We ordered the 6 taste sampler of ceviche which was perfect. My husband prefered the Ahí/tuna and I loved everything else. I think my favorite was the shrimp in coconut milk, but honestly every single sample was prepared and served exceptionally. We also added the truffle fries and... More

After a long day of touring San Juan, we passed by Aguaviva. Our hotel had recommended the restaurant earlier in the day, but it was Carolina, who greeted us as we reviewed the menu outside, that made our visit special. She described the food, pointed out some of her favorites, and warmly invited us to come in for dinner. The... More

We ate at Aguaviva our first night of a vacation in Puerto Rico. Kinda of a anniversary type place. We had reservations and were welcomed like old friends. The food was delicious, the wait staff most helpful and friendly. Very elegant nice dinner with friends- could not have been better. A little pricey but worth the dining experience. Going again... Great food and drinks. Came here during culinary festival and ordered sunset margarita, cod fritters, And paella. Cod fritters were good, kind of an upscale take on a fish stick. The paella was also great, not the typical paella served in a skillet because they make theirs with orzo, but it was still delicious. The ambiance is nice - very aqua... More

I had the snapper ceviche with avocado. It was served with thinly sliced tostones crisped to perfection. It was, by far, the best ceviche I've ever had in my life. It was SUPER bright with citrus which is what I like. The tables are small and you sit very VERY close to other parties. It does however create a very... More
