My husband and I went here on a recommendation and it did not disappoint! Absolutely loved the oyster appetizer which came with both raw and cooked oysters. They were delish! Our waitress Ata really enhanced our experience with her friendly and welcoming attitude and made some great suggestions, she was great 😃

In general, this was a nice place with good food. We had Oysters Rockefeller (very good), Broiled Sea Bass (also very good), Gnocchi and Cheese (good but not quite there), and Paella (good, with calamari, but was missing the saffron). The drinks were nice, the wait person was nice, though a little slow. It was a pleasant experience, but not... More

I was looking for a really good restaurant in Puerto Rico and came across this place online. Everything was really fantastic.. the oysters was fresh, octopus ceviche was delicious, and the Mahi Mahi was amazing! Best I've had! And the mojitos was incredible! And if that's not enough the service was really good. . Very attentive staff! It's on the... More

My wife and I had dinner at the Aguaviva during our stay in Old San Juan. We split the ceviche sampler and striped bass, a bottle of wine, followed by a cremebrule. The ceviche was quite good, but the bass was so salty that neither of us could eat it, and the cremebrule was served warm, not chilled. We discussed... More

Nicely decorated, a few steps from cruise ships docks. Stylish and specializing in seafood. Not much sea food is local, but they freely admit this. PR has very lfew local fisheries I would recommend the 3 or 4 styles of ceviche, food is presented in a stylish fashion and all was delicious It gets a bit loud when crowded. Bar... More

Recently visited this restaurant during the San Sebastian Festival. The restaurant called in advance of our reservation to make sure we knew how to navigate the increased traffic. This was the kind of thoughtful service we received all night. Diana and Carlos were our servers. Both of them were engaging and attentive. They even provided recommendations for other things we... I enjoyed a delicious meal at Aquaviva this past weekend while in San Juan for my future sister-in-law's bachelorette. We had a huge group (15) and the service was still excellent. They were very attentive, always had our waters and drinks refilled, and helped me secretly order bottles of Prosecco and desserts for the table from my brother to surprise... More

Went to this restaurant with a group of girlfriends on a visit from Atlanta to celebrate one of our birthdays anda bachelorette trip. First, the food: fan-tas-tic! We had been in town a few days by the time we got to Aguaviva and had been a bit underwhelmed with our dining choice thus far. Although it was a bit of... More
