A wonderful lunch.

We had been wandering around old San Juan and happened upon Toro Salao. It had been raining so we opted to eat inside as opposed to their outside patio. The inside is fairly small but the bar looked like a good place to sit and eat. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and would return again.

Had a memorable dinner here. Met the manager, Carlos, quite a character. The paella could have been the best I ever had. Really great presentation and execution.

I enjoyed the calamari, salad before the main course. The bacon wrapped crusted Mahi Mahi was fresh and decent. I thought the portion was good but it could havr used some extra spice or sauce. The bacon is not wrapped. You get bacon bits mixed with crunchy topping on top of the filet. I sat outside and it was pretty... More

Not the best food int he area, but fair enough! Typical tapas that tasted fine as we sipped a rum punch while taking a break from walking ans shopping. Great spot to people watch and take some shade.

I am quite a picky eater but their food is fabulous. House salad and the brick pizza was amazing. And it's right downtown near plaza colon. Great area

My husband and I had a late dinner here. We enjoyed the outdoor seating. Laura was our super friendly waitress. We ordered a pitcher of Sangria, flank steak and sangria. All were delish. We also ordered the seasoned fries as an appetizer. As a self proclaimed French fry snob....these were the best fries I've ever had!

After walking through Old San Juan and the forts all day, we needed a place to rest and have eats and drinks. This place was perfect. First of all, the service was great and the bartender Chris made a wonderful pitcher of sangrias. We ordered 4 different tapas and all were great. Literally stumbled upon this place from the plaza.... More

We had been walking most of the day and came upon this stretch of outdoor seating. Looking out over the plaza to the cruise ships, the location worked for us. We were quickly seated and menus in hand. We stayed with the tapas items. We ordered the calamari, the shrimp taquitos and the coca iberica pizza which is really a... More

We sat outside for a late dinner of shared tapas. The ambiance was nice and the drinks were flowing, but the food was just ok. The fried items had too much fried not enough substance. Service was excellent.

Great little place in old san juan. The food was very tasty but the bar service was excellent. The bartender was very good and made fantastic drinks.
