The bar had an old smell, place is dark & dreary. If you get past all that try the monitors at happy hour, yummy & nice & strong. The Valencia paella was more than enough for two people that we took the leftovers back for an ample lunch the next day, well worth the $40 price & 30 minute wait.

Would really like to go 5 stars but... went on a 5 star fishing charter, came to them with the fresh fish. They DID make a fantastic meal with the snapper. And the chef came around to ask if we liked his preparation. It was fantastic. The place was very nice but it was not set up for that kind... More

I had the Zarzuela Mariscos and my step dad had the fresh fried red snapper. Everything was absolutely delicious and the service was great too. I will definitely come back!

After a long day of traveling to San Juan we found this restaurant just down the street from our Hotel. It was very busy with locals. Very attentive wait staff that made helpful suggestions and guided us through a delightful dinner. Great cultural atmosphere for us being first time visitors to the country. Prices were very reasonable.

My husband and I came here on our last day in Puerto Rico. Several locals recommended and it did not disappoint. The place was full, so that was a good sign. Service was great, but the food was very flavorful and savory. Try the lechon asado!

Classic, pioneer Cuban restaurant in the island, as good as Versailles, La Carreta or any other in Miami. Portions are very big, with a varied menu plus the usual fare of meat, rice (congri or white with black or red beans) and a second side dish (tostones, maduros or amarillos, yucca, fries, etc.). Well dressed waiters. Garlic bread and water... More

Great food at inexpensive prices. If you have a huge appetite this is the place. They serve a lot at reasonable prices.
