Truly amazing

Enjoyed our dining experience at this French restaurant in Old San Juan...doesn't cater to large groups so best if you are a couple or foursome...place filled up by 8 pm...nice atmosphere...tasty menu...the service was slow and the waiter apologized...we were not in a hurry but if you are on a schedule you might wish to announce that to the waiter...I... I felt like I was in Paris at Trois Cent Onze!!! Everything about this evening was excellent: the place, the food, the service. Everything we ate was divine: the potato mushroom gratin for entree, the lobster in Champagne beurre blanc for main, the lima beans, the pumpkin, the apple tart, the chocolate mousse, the passion fruit souffle (yes, we had... Who goes to San Juan for french food? Well, I did, since you can't eat mofongo every night. The food here is quite good, and the service was gracious. The menu is what you would expect, with all of the french classics. An added bonus is that the place is pretty easy to get into, and also uses Open Table.... More

Love the classic French bistro style, cafe music, amiable service, delicious food with a creative twist and excellent wine list. Best rack of lamb and creme brûlée I've had in a decade. The 2009 Ch Anthonic Moulis at $45 is a bargain and drinking beautifully now. We enjoyed our meal so much we returned the following evening.

Ate dinner here on a one week trip to Old San Juan; the food was fair, and the service was interminably slow. I made the mistake of ordering dessert and it took forever. It was a chocolate item and while presentation was lovely, it was pretty dry. I hate to give this place an average review, because it's very cute... More

This restaurant is not inexpensive, but it's worth it. It is quiet, and the food was excellent, both in quality and in presentation. The service was excellent, without a hint of the quasi snobbishness that sometimes comes with a "French" restaurant. Actually, you could say that the quality of the food was French, but the warmth of the service was... More

Had a wonderful meal with great service. We were in San Juan a night before a cruise and chose this place based on reviews. We were not disappoint; it's a charming place in Old Town. Our waiter made some excellent recommendations and we enjoyed it all. Do make a reservation; they were fully book on the Saturday we were there.

Nestled on one of the old, Colonial streets in Old San Juan, this little gem was just what my husband and I needed after a long day at the beach. The sea scallops were amazing, the prosciutto florets cooked to perfection, and the generous wine pouring that accompanied it was a treat. One appetizer was not enough, though!! We plan... More
