This lovely French restaurant is hidden away in Fortaleza St in the heart of old San Juan. It has an old world charm in its stunning decor and is very romantic. The food was very good. My lamb with blackberry reduction was certainly memorable. The waiters although very professional were also very friendly and it added a personal touch to... More

The place is somewhat hard to find given is located at Fortaleza street. Place decoration is very vintage antique looking. The service was excellent and the waitresses very amicable. The food quality was very good. My only observation would be the wine list could be updated. Only low end or very high end wines specially champagne and sparkling wine. I... More

This is by far the best french restaurant in San Juan and probably in Puerto Rico. Conveniently located in Old San Juan, this places takes Open Table reservations, which are encouraged in high season. Their staff is friendly and helpful. They have an extensive collection of french wine (as expected). The menu is somewhat limited, but they make it up... More

The food is exquisite ! Excellent salmon, cooked to perfection with a butter and caviar sauce that is unmatched. Owner on premises, and everything runs smoothly and well. Definitely recommend for dinner !!

On our 4 night culinary tour of Puerto Rico in July 2014 we chose this restaurant for our last choice based on great online reviews. What a mistake that was (we turned down Santaella, Marmalade and 1919). The restaurant had no vibe or atmosphere, ugly decor and an old fashioned, in exciting menu. At 7:30pm on a Wednesday night, the... More

This place seems to be less known compared to other hot spots because when I went there, there only were a couple of tables that were seated. But both ambience and food of this little French restaurant is a top notch. Ambience: very cozy yet artistic and makes you feel like you are dining in a local restaurant you ran... More

Service and food were both superb! Who knew you could find such elegant and refined French cuisine in Old San Juan? If they have the pate/terrine as a special, get it! Very smooth, light and delicious. Notable wine list as well.

This is a lovely, restaurant located at 311 Fortaleza Street (hence the name from the number on the street.) It has been owned by a woman for 14 years and serves classic French food with a Puerto Rican touch. It has a crisp, intimate feel with fine white table cloths and a rich looking wood bar area. The service was... More

My family has been coming to Puerto Rico over the last several years and Trois Cent Onze continues to deliver excellent food and service. The staff handily outperforms "the best" restaurants throughout San Juan. We were warmly greeted at the door, then seated immediately. Our cocktails were very well constructed and flavorful. My dirty martini was "spot on". The escargot... More

Too bad I don't love French restaurants. The food was just fine, the service was a bit slow. I didn't love the rosoto (they gave me a taste as I couldn't decide between that and the grouper). The grouper was very good. My son's filet was good but I think he went back to the hotel still hungry. Not my... More
