This was a family stand by every time we would visit PR (2-3x per year) for more years than I can count but since the General Manager, Jaime, left, it's been going downhill. My final attempt to give it a chance occurred when I was seated under a dripping air conditioner lit by a bare blue energy efficient bulb facing... More

During our visit of Puerto Rico for our 25th Anniversary, one of our friend’s mother who lives in San Juan picked us up for lunch. Let me say that this restaurant is an up scaled establishment (if only glancing at the expensive entrée list). There’s a store located inside where buyers can purchase food items including spices. Overall, the restaurant... More

We just had lunch at this place. It has a beautiful dining room. We ordered paella. It took them over one hour to serve it. And the place was empty. This was our first visit in 10 years and just because of the slow service we won't be back in 10 more years. Not a place to visit if you're... More

A great place with the best service we've had in a long time. The waitress was very attentive and patient. She explained evrything calmy and in detail. We started with Tostones coronados de Ceviche de mero. They were amazing! Then they served us their homemade bread with garlic butter. It was very good too. Compliments of the chef we had... More

I recently dined at Atlantica Viejo San Juan with a group of friends and had an amazing experience. We came without reservation so we had to wait a while, but we enjoyed a delicious sangria at the bar while we waited to be seated. Like I said is was an Experience...we were welcomed at our table with a delicious Fish... More

The best paella I've ever eaten - the rice was cooked perfect, not lumpy or sticky or water wet inside, the lobster topper was perfect, not dry. I wanted to take an order back to Texas but I was afraid it might get spoiled in the long flight. I will be back.

My husband and I walked here from our vacation apartment in Old San Juan - approx. 15-20 min. stroll. Close to Escambron Beach and could be walked from Caribe Hilton. Quick cab ride from Condado or Old San Juan. We had appetizer - fried calamari with a tangy sauce. Tender. Homemade bread and garlic butter. Perfect amount of food for... More
