Don't be fooled by the cute bistro look and feel of this place - once you sit at the outdoor seating you will regret it. There's a family of mosquitos waiting for you under the table. It's so horrible you spend your time counting the minutes to leave. The food leaves much to be desired for - the calamari were... More

This restaurant is terrible, the service was not good at all and the worst was the food and on top of that the mosquitoes ate me alive plus it was very pricey

Environment is great, pasta reminded me when I went to italy, excellent cosine and selectee of wines such as the customer service, very polite. Plates are enough to get full. I definitely recommend it.

Went to Al Dente last week during my vacations. The place ambient is excellent for casual or formal dinning. The food presentation great. The taste was very good! If you like italian food you will enjoy it for sure. Don't forget to try the desserts.

We tried this restaurant based on the Tripadvisor reviews and were not disappointed. The service was warn and friendly. I think every waiter introduced themselves at some point in the evening, as did the owner, in a way that was not pushy or overbearing. We started by splitting four appetizers. All were wonderful but the Sausage and the Spinach Salad... More

We stopped at Al Dente on a whim and are so glad we did. It has a nice, quiet atmosphere and was not at all crowded. Our waiter, Enrique, was very friendly and attentive. Food was excellent!! The owner is from Sicily and his wife's artwork of Old San Juan lines the walls (for sale too!). Would definitely recommend this... More

After checking into a very unimpressive hotel, my GF and I were grumpy, hungry and in need of a reset button for our weekend. Well, we got it here. After taking in the street performers and perusing a few menu's we decided that Italian was a good choice and there happen to be some tables open outside while most everything... More

My husband and I ate here 4 years ago and remembered it fondly so on a return trip to Puerto Rico we knew we needed to return to Al Dente. The food was prepared well with a good ambiance. Three of us dined on a Monday evening. We shared a Ceasar salad and a calamari appetizer (calamari was salty), but... More

Wonderful, traditional Italian food. Great atmosphere, courteous staff, excellent wine list but most important...food is outstanding!! If you are looking for traditional, homemade Italian, then Al Dente is a must! Highly recommend.
