Very nice place to eat. Can eat outside which was nice. Wait staff very nice. Food was good. On the expensive side but you pay for what you get. Did not rush you to leave

This is by far the best Italian Restaurant in Old San Juan! Escargots, Lasagna, Tortellini Al Dente, Pasta Alfredo... All was amazing! My 8 years old kid love this Restaurant! He like the Alfredo Sauce with Angel Hair and chicken. I tried the Lasagna and Escargots... Mmmmm delicious. This is the place for a very good italian experience!

Al Dente was one of the best Italian meals I have had. Like many people, I assume, my family and I found it after visiting El Moro. Also like many people, we had heard that Raceis was supposed to be good but discovered that it had a huge wait that was far beyond my own impatient nature, nor the likely... More

My husband and I saved this restaurant for our last night in Puerto Rico! Very romantic and the food was to die for. The service was great and… did I mention the food was absolutely amazing? Seriously, just try this place!

You would never expect to get good Italian in food in OSJ. We had delicious Mofongo, pork, corn sticks, Mojitos, and empanadas. When we had a craving for Italian food we found AlDente quite by accident. It was quiet, romantic and clean. We both ordered the chicken parm with rigatoni, and sangria. My husband had chocolate cake and ice cream... More

For over the past two decades Al Dente has been serving up some of the best Italian cuisine on the island. Excellent service and a great location. Outdoor dining, sipping wine and munching an antipasto while people watching makes a lovely evening. This establishment has a surprisingly good wine list. When you tire of mofongo enjoy some typical Sicilian specialties.... More

As a local, I try to dine at Al Dente whenever I'm in the old city. It's one of the oldest restaurants and keeps a high standard of excellence. I had the mahi mahi and it was superb. My sister ordered the tortellini and liked it very much. The waiters are all friendly and eager to serve. The decoration is... More

I must say this is the very first time I've ever given a place a terrible ranking. The service was okay. Everyone was friendly but the food was not good at all. It taste like Italian food out the can like Chef boyaradee. I couldn't even eat it all b/c the taste was so bad. I got a seafood pasta... More

We went here based on reviews and were not disappointed. My Mother had the scallops and raved about them. My wife had the Mahi-Mahi and loved it, I had the veil and greatly enjoyed it. We were not rushed, everything was fresh and when we asked for 3 deserts the waiter suggested we get 2 and share as they were... More
