"jamaican food at its best"

This typical restaurant is a must. The burgers are first class and the 3 course meal we had cooked by Cherry on our second visit was wonderful. A truly hospitable couple, who made you feel very welcome in their little jamaican restaurant.

Don't be deceived by the exterior, inside is a warm welcome. You can sample a range of different burgers like no other. You will not be disappointed. Oh and try the homemade ginger beer!!!! WOW! Now when you drink this in a tall glass with plenty of ice, you will feel the fire in your ears when you are finished!!... More

I was treated to lunch and dinner and both times I ate the plantain burger with fries. The food, people and energy will leave you with such a wonderful feeling. Something very special about the people who own this restaurant. I have traveled to many places that leave me with something to remember. This one, however, has left me with... More

Woody's was close to our B&B (Drapers San), so we could walk to it. It is run by the nicest couple possible. Mrs Woody explained everything about her burgers with a big smile. We had the Full Veggie & Plantain combination and some Red Stripes, it was seriously delicious. Woody himself was just as nice and asked us several times... More

Woody's is quirky and funky, but it's the burgers and homemade ginger beer that keep me coming back time and time again. Eat in or take it with you... either way, you'll be back for more.

Woody's Low Bridge is a little open-air burger place in Drapers, Portland. I've driven past here many times, this time we decided to try it out. Well....we were NOT disappointed! We ordered the Plaintain House Burger and the Vegetable House Burger and both were absolutely fresh and super delicious! The Vegetable Burger came with callaloo, bell peppers, onions, tomato, etc.... Stopped here after getting some things at the grocery store across the street - the plantain burger was recommended and I found it extremely delicious! Although I'm Jamaican and frequently eat plantain everything, I've never had it on a burger before - think I'll start adding it now! The sauce on the burger was also very good - only downside... This place has terrific food. After 30+ years of being a vegetarian, I had the best veggie burger ever at Woody's. Parking is minimal and a bit difficult. Worth it to come here. Very casual. Not on beach. Do not expect a view. Just great food.

This little place will surprise you! It's very charming, the food is delicious and the owners are super friendly. The walls are filled with handwritten life advice quotes and everything is really colorful and feels fun!

This place makes the most amazing burgers! I had their "plaintain house specialty" which was the best burger I have ever had. Will be my first stop if I am in Port Antonio again.
