Cliff divers. Yawn. Tip hungry and overly impressed with themselves! The only thing I would give Ricks props on, was a delicious soup stock, and one of the best servers I have ever had. It would have been very easy for Miss Star to dislike and underserve our troop. She was a 10 on a scale of 10. Skip it... more

it's a good place to hang out and see the sunset. Decent raggae show. Great experience at the cliffs, but do not waste your time here to eat. There are a number of spots in Jamaica that offers better food at a much better price. more

While on vacation for my niece's destination wedding in Negril, Jamaica, the bride and groom took all of the friends and family who had attended the wedding to Rick's Cafe. They had arranged everything on-line before leaving the states. Rick's set us up with reserved tables upstairs and we had a great view of the sunset and the cliff divers.... more

A group of us decided to head to Rick's on Oct. 3, 2009 to watch the sunset and do some jumping. It was wonderful...it was the night before our wedding and a great way to get our wedding group together! We shuttled to Rick's via a shuttle from Sandals Negril. The cost was $40 per couple round trip (we probably... more

Rick's Cafe is worth a visit. The sunsets are beautiful, the cliff divers are entertaining, and the food and drinks are good. However, be prepared to be urged by the divers for donations for their daring feats. This is less noticeable if Rick's is very busy, but if you go when things are slow (mid-day), you will be subjected to... more

Rick's Cafe is a must see, but not a must eat. We took a cab from Mo Bay to Negril one day to shop and have dinner at Rick's and watch the sunset. By the way, cabs or usually cheaper and more convenient than the tours. It was a cloudy day so we didn't get the full sunset experience but... more

We decided to try Rick's Cafe while we were in Negril. It was very dissapointing, to say the least. The ride there is free, but they charge you to go back to your hotel, so be prepared. The food is mediocre at best - hamburgers and other overpriced junk food. It is a very touristy place and the cliff divers... more

The food was no big deal - a little pricey for what they offered. The service is ridiculously SLOW!! 1 hour wait for a fish taco and an appetizer sampler. Fun to see the cliff divers - but the neighborhood is sketchy - as most places in Jamaica are once you leave the resort. Live Reggae Music at sunset was... more

We were at Rick's on Sept. 13th and unfortunately we decided to run a tab at the bar, which required us to leave our credit card with the bartenders. Fortunately, we checked our card as soon as we got home and it had been used the very next day and every day until Sept. 19th, charging over $1200 at auto... more

We stayed in Negril for 2 weeks and this was by far the worst place!! The food was horrible and way overpriced! We thought we would go just to see what it was all about and hated it the second we walked up. Our regular iced teas ended up costing more than our meal!! This place is what is wrong... more
