Bongo's is located at the Sandy Haven Resort where we stayed for our vacation. My wife and I ate there on a few couple occasions and the food was excellent. Try the Jerk Chicken Pasta, you won't regret it.

Food was very good quality and the choice adequate, but for the price, we expected a view and/or special ambiance. The restaurant has very little ambience and is best described as very neat and very clean. The resort itself is relatively new so why they built a beach front resort and put the restaurant facing the road is a complete... More

The setting was great. The first night they had some Bongo drum players who gave a first class performance. Dinner was buffet style and everything was good. The second night we ordered from the menu and that was even better; taste was excellent and the portions huge!

The restaurant is very pretty, the service was great and the food was absolutely amazing. The prices are a bit higher than what you would pay elsewhere however the quality of the food made it worth not one trip but three ! I suggest getting the crab and corn chowder- best thing I have ever ate ! If you go... More

The service is impeccable, the menu is comprehensive, you are spoilt for choices, I recommend the crab chowder and the grilled fresh lobster with jerk mayonnaise!!! To die for. The ambiance is elegant and quite with great back ground music and the wine list is very good.

We dined at Bongo's our last night, January 29th. We were able to walk as it was at Sandy Haven which was 2 resorts away. We did not think that it was expensive ... comparable with other Negril restaurants The roasted pumpkin soup and the crab & corn chowder were awesome I had the spicey shrimp curry and my wife... The food and drinks were exceptional. The only downside is the price. It is a bit pricy but a must if visiting Negril:)

We ate here on a Thursday during a two-for-one night. As a consequence, the menu was limited, but I didn't have a problem finding something I liked. We had complimentary appetizers and drinks. The food was good, nicely presented, and the waiter was very attentive. I would come here again, which I think is the best compliment to a restaurant!
