Sweet Spot Indeed.....for Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

I stayed in Negril and date at Sweet Spot on a number of occassions. Breakfast is very good, arrive early in order to get your portions of hard food....we arrived late on a few occassions and there was no boiled green banana or yam left. Lunch here is equally as nice & and same goes for the... read more

First of all let me first preface that the food here is pretty good. However, when you see a menu with no prices, then there is room for dishonesty. They charge according to what you look like. Especially if you are a tourist, they will charge you more. I do not like dishonest business practices. This is the reason for... More

I had a good fish dish here at a reasonable price. The service was quick and the facilities were very clean. I plan on eating here again.

Large place for a local spot. Menu changes day to day. I had fricassee chicken one day, ox tail stew the next. Both great, inexpensive but service is slow (for everyone).

During our stay in Negril we made many visits to Sweet Spot. The food is cooked fresh daily and one serving can feed two people. The brown stew fish was GREAT! We also had fried chicken and curry goat were also very good. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is very welcoming! Unless you are ordering lobster or shrimp...the... More

don't not go!!! its why you came to Negril - its all about the culture. The Chicken Curry and the Chicken Breast were OUTSTANDING! The fish soup was so tasty. We had saursop there and watched the NCAA tournament. This and the Pushcart are the best restaurants.

We were told to try Sweet Spot for vegetarian food for one of my kids. Their idea of veggie is callaloo, yam and a boiled banana. I had curry goat but it was all bones with tiny parts of meat and inedible dumplings. Dont go.

20 minutes after ordering beef we were told there was no beef. Changed to pork, the meal that was served (literally) consisted of rice and 10 pieces of pure pork fat and no meat at all. Its nice to sit at the outside table and watch the world go by.
