It was love at first bite. I grew up eating Tastee and Juici patties (much like other American kids grow up eating McDonald's, Burger King and Wendy's burgers) and I love them. But there is nothing like a pattie made by hand and cooked right in front of your eyes. It's like trying to compare a handcrafted grass fed sirloin... More

Hands down the best patties in JA. Very simple street food - a few picnic tables but most take patties to go. Grab a pat tie and head back to the beach. You will not be disappointed!

This is essentially an extremely modest take-out shack located on the beach in Negril. Niah is a Rastafarian who does one thing superbly well: make hand-crafted Jamaica patties. His stand is simple in the extreme -- a wood fire and a few pots. But he can produce very tasty patties -- we tried vegetable and fish -- and will work... More

Niah is a sculptor of Jamaican patties. Just have him create and share stories while you wait. Fresh, local ingredients make for a perfect combo. You never know what he will make for you but its always good.

We went to Niah's yesterday (during the off season). The location was quiet. But that's not the important part. Niah chatted with us for a bit and really took his time making the food. We learned a lot about his life and the island from him. And the food was fantastic. We will always remember his philosophy chat. Really cool... More

Niahs' patties are by far the best patties on the beach! Stuffed with fresh, local ingredients and made with love.

a little more expensive than beach vendors but the wait worth every minute. Be careful cause they will burn your tongue hot out of the cooking oil. The homemade sauce is excellent.

I walked by this place four times before I figured out I need to go into the park. When I went up to the stand, it was open..but no one was there. Please look for him! He might be at a bar outside of the park called Tonys Hut. He asked me what I wanted, I told him I didn't... More
