In the US, I am not a big fan of tofu...well I am in JA. Tofu was a very small portion of the overqal Ital and it was to die for. This was awesome & fresh and wonderful. I forgot the name of the girl that did the cooking but she cracked me up for the day. This stop was... More

Unique little road side stand with authentic Jamaican vegan food. I would try this at least once while in Jamaica. Owner was very friendly and prices were reasonable. Also they change their menu everyday so you order whatever they have which means no waiting.

We loved sitting by the road at Rody's stall, eating incredibly satisfying Ital cuisine and listening to entertaining stories. The pumpkin soup is amazing!

We always have at least one meal every trip at Ras Rodys. The food is fresh, healthy and so tasty! For $700 J you get an assortment of whatever they cooked that day. Curried ackee, rice, veggies and more. All was delicious and you don't even miss the meat. Service is always with a smile and the roadside stand is... More

This roadside stand is right across the street from Tensing Pen. It is quite small and an authentic Jamaican roadside food stand. There is a small bench that can accommodate about four people, my husband and I planned to just grab food to go, but the owners son, Shadrock, welcomed us to sit and I'm glad we did as we... More

This roadside stand served delicious vegan food at reasonable prices. The pumpkin soup is one of the most amazing soups I've ever eaten, and the people working the stand are extremely nice and friendly and will fill you in on the history. The serving portions are large, and served in a carryout for easy transport of any leftovers for later.... More

I stopped by Ras Rody's a few times this trip. The quality was very inconsistent. When his son was cooking, the food was a bit better than on days when the girls cooked. Not bad in any case, just not great. Prices seemed to fluctuate depending in the mood. It's all pretty inexpensive, so no big deal, but charging three... More

Excellent food!!! We has Ras Rody's for lunch almost every day while on the West End. My 12 year old son just has to have it every day. He said it was the best food he had while in Jamaica. This place is defiantly a must try. It is an amazing place to eat.

Just had lunch at Ras Rody and the meal was very good, great tasting, all vegan but even for a meat lover like me it was top notch. Service good and friendly, second hand smoke second to none LOL. Would recommend to anyone.
