Amazing Vegan Experience

I would like to start of by saying we ate a lot of Ackee on this trip. Raw and cooked, will miss this fruit/vegetable when back in the states. Without a doubt, no one prepared it like Shadrach at Ras Rody's. I'll be dreaming about that creamy Ackees dish along with the pumpkin and Jerk TVP. Not... read more

Popped in here to get a quick lunch, great friendly service, nice healthy food wich can be rare in Jamaica, bit pricey for what it was but definatly worth visiting.

Among the best vegan food you will find on the planet. The chef is a true master of his craft and just and extraordinary person, we could have spent all day with him... I really can't explain how great the food was, I just want more. The prices are very reasonable I felt like he was ripping himself off. If... More

This tiny, little place is the rave of the Rastas as well as the low budget tourists. All organic soup, breadfruit and other delights as the season changes. An excellent for a couple’s lunch. You might have to walk to the local shop to get a new plastic spoon or Styrofoam cup but it’s all in the manner of a... More

You can always tell great food by whether it's visited by the locals - the first day we tried to visit, there was no food left! Shadrach, the owner, promised to save us a spot for the next day. True to his word, we ate there the next day, and were not disappointed! My husband is a very picky eater,... More

This is vegan food at its finest! We've never had anything quite like it. While in Jamaica, we were looking for a clean, healthy meal that would "power" us through our adventures, but we didn't want to sacrifice taste. Ras Rody did not disappoint. In fact, it exceeded our expectations! You won't walk away hungry. The portions are generous enough... More

This was one of the best dining experiences I've had... And I travel a lot! Not only the amazing vegan food, but the conversation as well. Providing us with coutural background on the dishes and where all the vegetables cane from.

This is a roadside stand on West End road. It is completely worth a stop, or even a trip if you have an interest in trying Ital food or are a vegetarian. We got soup and a selection of delicious curries with veggies and TVP served over rice in a half coconut shell (although there are limited quantities of coconut... More

We are not vegetarian, but were recommended the place which is opposite the Tensing Pen. We tried it and we just loved it. The colors, the textures, the nice chats with Kachina... It was really special. Fresh, tasty, unexpected. A great lesson of Jamaican cuisine.
