Absolutely incredible and authentic vegan Jamaican cuisine at a roadside cafe in Negril. We found Ras Rody's the day before we left town, and ate lunch there twice in a row. Not only was the food fresh and delicious, but the chef Keshena was friendly and chatted with us about her vegan cooking throughout our meal. The special changes from... More

Being vegan and staying nearby at Banana's Garden we ate at Ras Rody's several times during our week-long stay in Negril. This is plain intal cuisine by in the best Rasta tradition. Friendly family members cook and serve the food at this roadside stand. We had great conversations and learned a lot about the Rasta culture as well as the... More

The food he prepares is full of life, love and purpose. He is ready to share his knowledge of tropical edible plants, Rasta culture and ital... More

Safely transport the amazing food and get down to Step-a-side's Jerk across from Alfred's for his 4-5pm 1st off the grill offering. Together this food represents the... More

Great, clean, tasty, simple vegan food. You order from the chef, sit on a plank of wood to eat it while the traffic whizzes by. Wouldn't have it any other way, and can't wait to go back.
