We ate breakfast at Sips & Bites while in Jamaica June 2014. The restaurant had a lot of Jamaican clientele which I always take as a good sign. The prices were very reasonable and the food was amazing. I got a fish omelet which was perfectly cooked and very delicious. My husband got the Ackee and Salt Fish (traditional Jamaican... More

Local fare for reasonable prices. Ate breakfast, lunch and dinner at Sips and Bites and couldn't have asked for a better meal on each occasion. The ackee and salt fish were the best I've tried in Jamaica and was accompanied by delicious festival and plenty of other flavorful sides. The jack fish meal came with plenty of sides as well.... I did not find the place all that thrilling. Average food if you want to wait for it. Not too clean either.

Very reasonable prices, great selection and quality local fare for breakfast. I wish the resort I stayed at was closer!

The food and service was excellent and dinner was cheap! Main course included a delicious soup, rice and peas (kidney beans), breadfruit, plantains and sweet potato. It is not FANCY but clean and well kept. It was one of the local's favorite places to eat. FYI They are closed early on Friday thru Saturday for their Sabbath.

Stopped here for lunch one day and it was SO GOOOOD. I got the fried chicken. They do not sell beer there, but no worries- the next stop we made sure did. :) Great people, great prices, TASTY food

Have wanted to try this place for some time. Good food and service at reasonable prices. Wanted to return for lunch or dinner but never got around. Would definitely visit again.

I had the oxtail and it was delicious! The place was on the West End but worth the taxi ride up. The service was pretty good and the food was excellent! Will definitely return

I started going to Sips & Bites, decades ago. They have THE BEST coffee, EVER! The breakasts are also, "cooked to order", so learn to be patient, for a fresh meal. I have noticed, that their prices are getting a bit "pricey", and they did not use to be. I know the economy is tough, but it is tough around... More

I eat here more often than any other place, outside of where I'm staying. The prices are very reasonable and the food is very good. They are closed on Saturdays so if you go on a Friday you have to make sure you give enough time or they may run out of food.
