Felt Like Home

Went to Sips and Bites after arriving in Negril. It felt like your Grandmother's kitchen, just the Jamaican version. The brown stewed chicken was delicious! My guy had curry goat and he cleaned his plate.

Went for lunch with a group of 8, and had the place to ourselves. Menu choices are on a blackboard as you walk in, and offer a nice variety. I had the Curried Chicken, which I rate as one of the best I've had on the Island. Others in our group had a variety of dishes, and all agreed this... More

It looks rustic , but really good food and nice folks there.I would eat here often if I lived in Negril. And after THIS winter,I wish I did. My tan is peeling but my memories remain to get mme through until summer in Vermont. LOL

If you want some real home cooked Jamaican food this is the place. Had the Brown Stew Chicken and it was sooo good. We also had curried goat and snapper at our table. We all loved our meal. The fresh assortment of vegetables that comes with were fantastic. Service a bit slow but goodness takes time. Relax, you're in Jamaica!

We went for dinner and the menu is on the blackboard - good Jamaican fare. They do not serve alcohol but no problem as the store next door has cold red stripe to drink with your meal. We had the complimentary vegetable soup and my wife had red snapper and I chose the brown stew chicken. Both came with breadfruit,... More

A not-to-be-missed source of the best Jamaican food you can get. Too many delights to mention apart from the delicious fried dumplings. Don't judge by appearances, judge by the food; you'll find yourself going back for more.

We had been having lunches at the Rockhouse, where we're staying, but today decided to try whatever we found on the road that looked promising. Surprisingly, that was just next door at Sips&Bites. We had not read TA reviews, so our opinion was not biased by what we had read. Sips & Bites had the best curried goat I have... More

.... But the food at Sips & Bites is home made and delicious. I had the vaunted goat curry which lived up to the hype and my partner had the sauteed vegetables which she raved about. Great value for money and all served up with a smile.

Had the goat curry, been here 2 weeks and its getting 2 thumbs up, will eat there again, Had dinner, beauty plate, veggies, bread, soup, all good, rice was ok but not special, maybe coco nut or pumpkin rice, best rice is still "Quality 's SEA BREEZE ", westland road area.
