I returned to Le Vendome in April and it was spot on. Definitely a place to visit during high season. A year ago in March it was fabulous. I returned in May and it was polar opposite. I presume it was because it was slow season and they were ready to close for a bit. That last bad experience wasn't... More

The food was always fresh and prepared with a French/Jamaican flair. We like the appetizers served at the bar too. Breakfast was always good and hot, even with room service. They have an onsite bakery that makes fresh croissants in the morning. Excellent!

The seafood pasta was very good, but you can order this in many other places and pay a lot less. I should have taken the servers suggestion and ordered this too! It really is one of the best things to order in Negril besides lobster. The service is was very very slow. The atmosphere is romantic and light up nicely.... More

The food and service was amazing. Everything I ate was presented beautifully and tasted gorgeous. We spoke with some of the friendly staff who told us that all food is prepared from fresh local produce and made daily at the restaurant even the delicious cakes and pastries for breakfast. Would recommend to anyone.

What a delight! Our family of 6 dined at Charela Inn this past Sunday night (August 11th), and it was the best meal we had during our trip to Negril. The food was really good, and the service was excellent. Our waitress was amazing. She was so friendly and interacted with our kids so well. We had 3 teenagers and... More

We enjoyed each and every meal while we spent a week all-inclusive at Charela Inn. The service was wonderful! Every table has a great view and you can dine inside, under the awning or under the stars. Breakfast was great starting with juice and coffee, fruit plate and your choice of eggs, omelet, French toast and sides of ham, bacon,... More

My niece and I dined here in March. The dinner was so delicious we returned once more before we headed back to the States. I convinced my husband to join me this time. We arrived yesterday and made plans to dine at Le Vendome. My husband is French and when I returned from my trip in March I raved about... More

Stayed at a nearby hotel and went over on a Thursday evening to dine and take in their show. Very nice ambience, good food, and my waitress was wonderful, attentive, personable....very nice change from some of the waitstaff in Negril. Definitely check out Le Vendome when staying on the beach in Negril. Great chocolate cake. Would definitely return.

This was our first trip to Jamaica and this restaurant was attached to our hotel (Charela Inn) where we stayed for 7 days. Our first night we were too tired to venture out, so we decided to give it a try. Not only did we have a very good meal, there was also entertainment. If you order the special, you... More
