During our taxi ride for the day we asked our driver where we could get some really good jerk chicken and he drove us to Scotchies. There was limited parking but once you ordered from this tiny little window, you had to wait about 20 minutes for your food but it was worth the wait. The prices were amazing for... More

Food is delicious and the setting is fun. The only complaint is the line moved slow but I guess if they are busy, that is a good thing.

Fabulous spot for jerk. This is very local. The food is excellent and the service is good as well. The restaurant is family friendly.

Scotchies was recommended by every local that we asked about where to go for Jerk and we weren't disappointed. It looks like an old shack, but that incredible jerk smell draws you in. The first thing you see are the chefs cooking up the jerk on wood. Make sure to tip the Chefs if you want to get your picture... More

We were on a tour going from Martha Brae rafting over to Montego Bay and stopped at Scotches for lunch. The place is authentic and had just what I was looking for: Jerk Pork. It was moist and flavourful and with the bottle of pepper sauce on the table I got the heat I was looking for. My wife who... More

A little saltier than our usual tastes run to but you need a little extra salt in your diet when sweating that much. Jerk pork, jerk chicken, festival.

This is a place you need to visit if in the Montego Bay area. It was our second time and the food better than ever. It is laid back and a local dive. The people are friendly and the jerk chicken does not disappoint. We we be back next time.

Food was great. Try the "Festival", it's a sweet corn bread. Both the pork and chicken are delicious. Enjoyed sitting at large round wooden tables where guests came and went. met some very interesting folks while we ate.

The food is definitely outstanding, however, the night we went, the server was totally overwhelmed and was probably doing the work of 2 or 3 servers. Sit at a big round table with other diners/travelers and share stories for a good time. The food is priced ridiculously low compared to what you would pay in the US....be careful in the... More

We recently stopped there while in port from our cruise ship. The jerk chicken was very good and moist (although I would have even liked something a little spicier). The rice and beans were a bit on the dry side. We also tried the bammies and festival bread which were excellent. The setting is very nice with outdoor dining huts.... More
