Dam good Jerk Pork here! Don't put all the extra sauces etc. Its well seasoned!! Drove by the old Pork Pit spot on way to resort and noticed it wasn't there. Found out it was relocated further up the strip. (At the old spot I remember a sign that said "No Loitering, No Prostitution" found it hilarious to see that... More

I have been to a couple of these. They both had great chick, and pork dishes . They have a real local feel to them, but don't be afraid of going there . They really want you to stop in . Don't forget tourism is there biggest sour of income.

Pork pit is famous in Mobay. It's easy to find on the far end of the hip strip. We didn't wait long for our food because there was tons of jerk chicken and pork on the grill, ready to be served. You can order sides of fries, rice/peas, plantains, and bammy. The chicken was good, but I personally prefer when... More

Authentic Jamaican jerk chicken and pork. Where the locals in MoBay go for jerk - outdoor smokers with pimento wood, corrugated metal covering the meat, jerk spice, the whole nine yards. The meat is spicy and falls off the bone. If you think you know what Jamaican jerk is you don't, unless you've been here or a similar joint in... More

I recently visited the Pork Pit. It was the last port on cruise ship itinerary. This place was recommended by our bus tour guide. I had the jerk chicken, sausage, festival and of course a red stripe beer. I enjoyed every bit of my meal. My husband had jerk chicken, pease and rice and ribs. He also like the chicken.... More

I loved this place. The best value on the Hip Strip. We tried the Jerk pork, chicken, shrimp, ribs and festival. All great at reasonable prices. Most of the clientele are locals and its a good place to chat with the locals. Beer is inexpensive and the perfect way to top off a great meal.

Very authentic. Roast meats over stacks of pimento wood. The locals love this place. Offering pulled pork, shrimp, chicken and sausage (which was fantastic, too!) We liked it so much we went back a second time!

I got food poisoning and was in the room for 4 1/2 days. A very dirty place. The food is very expensive in comparison to the quality. This is not a dinning experience. It's a low rate fast food take out that has never been cleaned.

I loved the open pit smoked meat and highly recommend. Not what I expected upon arrival but glad I ate the food.
