The food was good, the service was excellent! Our server gladly answered all of our many questions about the native Jamaican cuisine. They also offered free shuttle/taxi service from our hotel, which was nice as we paid $75 for our taxi to dinner the night before.

Although the Pelican looks a little outdated on the inside, it is a very clean restaurant and the food is prepared fresh and with all the right mixes of spices! Compared to all of the other restaurants I have eaten at all around Jamaica, the Pelican was the best! I would strongly recommend everyone who stops in or stays in... More

I have been to this restaurant for many years since I was a young child. I had move away to the US and hadnt been to The pelican for many years and to go back there and experience what I remembered as a child was great. The service and food was excellent. The service is Excellent your water, mimbo AKA Hot or Frozen Drink won't stay empty. The food is very good nice portions. Not American portions We tend to over eat junk. The portions are fair for the price its not a place you are going to eat under $20 but you are on vacation LIVE a little if you are... More

We like to eat breakfast at the Pelican Grill and our waitress Angel is very helpful and friendly. The Jamaican breakfast is delicious and healthy! My husband can enjoy the "All American" breakfast. We have ate there twice and the service is great and fast! The food is excellent and we are looking forward to lunch and dinner! Many thanks... More

Oxtails are a must, they are fresh meaty and authentic. They serve large portions and are prepared fresh daily. I ate them every day I was there,

I had the fish, it was ok. I love Jamaican food but I left a lot on the plate. I found The Pelican to be average. Maybe if you order something else you may be impressed, but I wasn't. It was just ok for me.
