Very nice Restaurant on (in) the water. Take a small ferry to the Restaurant. The food was great, the staff very attentive. The best experience of our Jamaica vacation.

Houseboat is a must if you're around Montego Bay. The restaurant is a wooden houseboat that sits anchored in the bay and you even take a little "ferry" out to it. The menu has something for everyone and the drinks are delicious. Low lighting creates a cozy ambiance and the outdoor deck around the boat is great for watching the... More

Visited this restaurant on July 19, 2014. We were a medium size group. Our reservations was at 7pm. We were seated upstairs. So far so good. The waitress asked if we would like tap water or bottle water. The majority of us said bottle water. Moving right along. Some of the guys went to go catch their lobster to eat.... More

You take a ferry (very short ride) to the boat. That set the tone. Once on the boat we were promptly seated. The boat overlooks the sea. It was evening so as we dined we admired the view of the beautifully lit town across the water. Fish swam up and leapt out of the water competing for our attention. The... More

Houseboat Grill gets a thumbs up for great ambiance and delicious food. The menu has a great variety of dishes which all sound very tasty. I had the lobster and Shrimp scampi which was very good and generous with the lobster and shrimp. The restaurant is discretly located off the Freeport main road and upon entering you have to take... Finding this place was part of the adventure. We had no real information about this place prior to our arrival other than a word-of-mouth tip. After our taxi driver had asked three gas stations for directions, we found this place. I loved the fact that you had to ring a bell and take a ferry to get to the boat.... More

This place is a special gem in Montego Bay! We had a very romantic night and it was a fun experience. The portions are very small to be so pricey but very tasty (especially the appetizers). I live in Miami so it wasn't a 5 star meal but I really can't say enough about the experience. We ate under a... More
