The amazing view of the city and the hills; you feel like you have a private garden on top of the world.
Visited the place today, quiet and beautiful place in the hills, amazing view over Kingston and surrounding mountains, you can stay hours just admiring the nature! Had pastries and Blue Mountain coffee, perfect end of the visit!
The setting of Strawberry Hill is divine & the property stunning but unfortunately our meal didn't live up to the surroundings. Jerk chicken & pork dishes were ok but not nearly as good as at other restaurants where we had sampled it whilst in Jamaica, vegetables were hard & bland & the rice side dish un-noteworthy. Worst of all was... More

Spent a wonderful day at this beautiful hotel. Apart from the young lady who greeted me by telling me rather crossly that I was too early (9am) the service was some of the best I've had anywhere. The massage was definitely the best I've had in the Caribbean. Had breakfast: a local ingredients take on eggs Florentine. Beautifully presented but... More
The food here is excellent and truly at a gourmet level. It is enhanced by the ability to view the Blue Mountains, the range is the highest in Jamaica. The mix and focus on using local ingredients is truly appreciated. A few slices of the roasted lamb from the Sunday brunch will leave you waiting for it to settle and... More
I made a reservation, but upon arrival, no trace of it, so I was shortly held up at the gate but finally let in and by the time I got to the restaurant, the hostess knew my name!!! Therefore, apart from this minor glitch, that was quickly fixed, I don't have much to say, honestly. And yet... The property is... More
Most people would pay just for the view, so the fact that the food is also generally of a pretty high standard is a bonus. You do feel that they could be a bit more creative with the lunch menu - perhaps responding more to the wonderful seasonal food of Jamaica. But all in all it's well worth a visit.
Excellent restaurant when you need to escape from the Kingston nightmare. The trip is a bit long but when you realise you are in the middle of the Blue Mountains its a great feeling. The restaurant itself is quite nice and colonial with photos of various international artistes eg Bob Marley, U2, Jagger etc. The food is very good and... More
As noted by other advisers the road up the mountain is narrow and very windy with lots of traffic and people on it. I'm glad I wasn't driving. I don't get car sick, but I was definitely ready to get out of the car. My two Jamaican friends and I stopped at the gate. It isn't marked well. It's a... More
