We drove up past Irish Town and beyond to get to this epic spot amidst the beautiful Blue Mountains, leaving the hustle and bustle of Kingston behind us. What an escape, the drive is fantastic and the mountain view from the restaurant is fabulous! Our waiter was funny and witty and we ate a wonderful meal together with seven friends... More

I was really looking forward to visiting this place. My boyfriend and I stayed a 20 minute walk up the road, so on our first day decided to stop by for breakfast, without a reservation. We stood like lemons for about 5 minutes, and even though there were about 8 staff milling around, none acknowledged us. When I asked if... More

Thanks for your comments and I definitely appreciate it. Firstly, Thanks so much for giving us so many chances despite your first visit. I was in the middle of a cooking class when you arrived the first time and I had simply asked the server to advise that we weren't open for business as it was a private class however... More

Stopped on the way down from Greenwich for coffee , which was great and was pleasantly surprised at the baked goods offered as well. Neat spot and very local. Service was good and the staff extrememly friendly

Its hard to believe, when sitting 300 ft above sea level, on a mountain side, surrounded by breath taking views that you are in Jamaica known really for its beautiful beaches. EITS is simply a little bit of heaven. The staff are friendly and the food is divine. Don't visit Kingston without trying EITS, highly recommended!!!

This restaurant was highly recommended. May be we happened to be there on a bad night, the menu is extremely poor. Out of three appetizers only one was available, same for the salad, out of two on the menu only one, same for the desserts. The main course was among the worst pasta dishes I ever had, the rest of... Having travelled to sample the highly reviewed food I was disappointed to be greeted blankly with the comment that it is reservations only. Although there was only one table being used we were turned away. It's looks a great quaint little place but beware always ring ahead or don't bother. We went to the Blue cafe instead.

Y'all are gonna think I'm an oddball, but yes, I had a poor dining experience at EITS unlike the majority of other reviewers. First of all, when we got there for lunch at 1:30pm, the waitress (there was only one for about 15 people) said the rice and peas was finished. Now for those of you who don't know, a... More

The cool crisp mountain air and the sound of nature around you helps to take your mind away from the bustle of the city just a few minutes away. The service and staff are great and the food was good to the tastebuds. It is a small, quaint setup straddling the hillside and the reading/lounge room has quite a bit... More

The service is good and its in the mountains so it's a good feel especially on a Sunday or holiday. However between the mosquitos and the lack of parking, the food needed to be really good. This unfortunately wasn't the case. It was ok, but not with the price and the drive.
