AWESOME FOOD!

This spot is located up in the Blue Mountains with lots of fresh air and beautiful views. I love the setting, and the food was out of this world! We had a wonderful salad and some sort of a "casserole" dish with lots of veggies...both were out of this world! The food is well worth the price, you... read more

Eits offered a special ambiance and meal that blends Jamaican and European cuisine with a delightful balance . Everything seemed freshly prepared and the flavors and taste was every taste buds delight. The food reminded me of my Mama's. I could taste the time, care and love in each bite. Eits is for everyone who just want to enjoy a... More

Saw this place while driving to Hollywell and and fell in love, had to book a trip back. Great ambience, great food, great service. Perfect place for a dinner for two especially if you are nature lovers. The beautiful scenery and rustic decor was enough to keep my satisfied. The food being good was like the icing on the cake.... April 27th, 2015 after a wonderfully torturous traverse of the Buff Bay Valley, we crested Hardware Gap and meandered downhill to 17 mile post and EITS. What a welcome, what an OASIS!! Eccentric, eclectic, breezy, cool and utterly out of this world. We spent a dreamy hour, eating an amazing breakfast with artesan coffee, and icy Red Stripe Beer. This is one... More

This place is different - its up on the slopes of the Blue Mountains, 17 miles out of Kingston; away from all the hussle and bussle of the city. It's cool, has a relaxing atmosphere and you can sit, chill and enjoy some breathtaking views, and some funky decor and furnishings. I especially liked the photos on display in the... More

good location, cool atmosphere, nicely decorated tasty meal comes with some extra cost. You can try fresh blended juices as well. Lemonade is nice looking but needs some more lime flavor. Nothing much to say for nice mountain view and cool air.

Why, when the food is made so well and the surroundings so breathtaking, do the staff have be so half-hearted in their approach to service? If there are items off the menu, why not tell us before you take our order? I hope it can improve, they work hard. I would not recommend the journey from Kingston to eat here... More

Was staying at the Mount Edge Guest House and ate here for dinner and breakfast. The food at the cafe was nice (had the barrel roasted chicken for dinner) and so was the homemade lemonade. One negative was the tablecloths used at breakfast hadn't been changed from dinner the night before so were still dirty which was disappointing.

Food was fine but limited and place is authentic bohemian atmosphere but get ready for to take your time and then some. Not much else going on up there in the mountains so best just to go to Strawberry Hill to dine.
