We just had drinks while we bet on the crab races which were well organized. What a wonderful evening.

Food is good and there are billiard tables. Monday night crab races. Hang out for the university students, so a more casual atmosphere.

Staying in Grand Anse and thought we'd try the Flamboyant for dinner as non-residents - we wished we hadn't! In a country where there is not many options the owl gives an outlet from the hotel room.A friendly bar where there is always people and a good bar man to make sure your glass is never empty.

We were staying all inclusive at the flamboyant hotel, so we had lots of lovely cocktails and also some food at the Owl. It was all good. I think if you are not AI, it would be rather expensive. Inside, it is nothing special but it is right on the beach, and has clean toilets, which is always important !

The Owl is one of the few places that is open extremely late. You can eat and sit on the beach and not have anyone disturb you. Also, they have karaoke nights and crab races.

The food is delicious and changes everyday. Great rum punch and piña coladas. Try the fish and roti.

The staff are your best friends, any questions you wanna ask about events they will tell you as well as serving nice cocktails and food. I must warn anyone who is a lightweight that the rum cocktails are strong cos it's 70% and they don't mess about when they pour it in. :-)

We tried this place for supper and left before ordering. It seemed that everyone there was on all inclusive at the hotel and the menu for non-residents was extremely expensive and very uninteresting. Above all though it felt very down-market and very lacking in atmosphere.
