Positive Revisit

Was last here in 2012 and my last review I criticised how compared to Nutmeg of old the restaurant under new management was surprisingly empty and lacked the traditional atmosphere. I was therefore keen to compare it when I returned to Grenada. The good news is it is still open and better still... read more

It took two hours to get any food in this restaurant, but it was all obviously fresh down to the fries and all fabulous. We had a large party and all concluded that this was the best meal we were enjoying in Grenada. Our very nice hotel offers lousy food, so whenever we go, this will be the place to... More

this place is a little hard to find, tucked away above a taxi office but well worth looking for. the roti fish or chicken are lovely but dont be suprised at the size...we had to take home half of ours to eat later (was just as good still)

Wonderful little restaurant, sit by the window upstairs, enjoy the cool breeze and watch the cruise ships come into port. The crab back is simply delicious with a refreshing rum punch to wash it down

I have dined at Nutmeg several times in the past few months, and have always enjoyed my time there and my food. I typically order either a chicken burger or the chicken and chips plate, both of which are good quality and value for your dollar. The staff is attentive and they do not tend to be very busy, so... After a good days cricket a group of us went for dinner, this place was in a lovely spot over looking the harbour. Our order was taken by a lovely young lady . Considering there was a few of us the food didn't take long . The food was very good. It was also a very reasonable price.

Top floor bar with a lot of locals and a good priced menu. Drink a Cool Carib and look out onto the harbour front and Bay Area whilst chomping on a plate of delicious Lambies (conch fritters!).Watch the local fishermen land the huge yellowfin tuna. Authentic place.

The restaurant has a nice balcony and view of the harbour. Good to watch the people go by and see the fishing boats. Food was ok nothing great, service was good, I would recommend for the atmosphere.

No trip to Greneda is complete without lunch in the Nutmeg cafe several times. There are (many) other things on the menu, but I always have a roti & whatever their fresh juice is. The portions are huge, but I make sure to save a small space for their nutmeg ice cream. This is excellent. So, good food, the breeze... More
