WARM PEOPLE AND DELICIOUS FOOD

We went there by a Saturday afternoon! The owners are very friendly and took care of us. The food is amazing. We are 4 Canadian teachers and we teach in Santo Domingo! This is so far the best food we've had. The prices are very reasonable! The view is great, the playa is a few steps away! It is... read more

I couldn't have had a better Sunday afternoon. The view was spectacular across from the water along with a nice breeze. The service was excellent. The menu was well put together with great choices for everyone. I had eaten at a number of restaurants in Puerto Plata but this by far was the best. I will definitely return.

We stopped here for lunch during a quick trip to Puerto Plata. The first thing that caught our attention was the spectacular view. The restaurant has an open front, which faces the ocean- so pretty! We started with the appetizer sampler plate, then shared a beef and shrimp fajita. Everything was really good, and we especially enjoyed the homemade tortillas.... More

Stayed at resort across the street and met friends that was living in nearby town for lunch. Tried the appetizer platter, enough to share. Very good way to sample the area foods.

Off the ocean world marina this is a good choice if you don't want to travel far in search of gourmet fare. It is all about easy mexican cuisine. Don't ask for too much but enjoy the variety of choice from the menu.

Was so happy to bring my family here to eat so that they too could experience what I already knew to be a fantastic restaurant, they loved the food so much we went back the next night too. And we brought our new friends (two other couples) that we met at the resort with us too!! We had such a... More

We stumbled on this place will walking the beach! It was a refreshing change from the all inclusive food at the Lifestyles Resort. We ordered the tacos and the appetizer platter. The food was awesome and the service was outstanding. We would recommend this gem to anyone visiting DR!

If you are in Puerto Plata at an all inclusive resort and looking for a change it is worth the drive to Los Charros. This is a great little Mexican restaruant. We ordered an appetizer plater that included a mix of tacos and other mexican dishes. It was reasonably priced and very tastey. We then ordered the grilled langostina and... More

I was staying in the villas near the restaurant and happened to see the sign that stated that they catered to a more of a Mexican flair. Being from Arizona, I wanted to see the difference in the taste of the food. I loved the drinks and the appetizer platter. The portions were enough for at least two people to... More
