Great place, good service, great food, high price. Will go back any time... oh yeah! If you are into fine japanese food, this is the place to go. I'll recomend it any time. Most important, if you are having sushi, you can count it will be fresh sea food! But it has a bit of a high price, really don't... More

The Samurai is one the best Japanese Food in Santo Domingo, but you have to pay the price. Really is more expensive than regular Japanese food in the DR. But is worthy. I tried a couple of rolls, Katta and Rusty, and Shrimp Tempura. They serve good Sake, and the courtesy of the server, and the ambiance, make a good... More

I always go for my anniversary, birthday, valentines day and any other chance I get! I love it! My favorite restaurant. Best quality fish and meat in Dominican Republic. The salmon is to die for!(any salmon plate) The sashimi Guatapaná con Coco!! The sake! Green tea tiramisu!! It's not cheap but neither is the quality so it's definitely worth it!!

I'm Japanese. If this restaurant is in Japan, nobody goes. They use dried noodle for soba. Miso soup is tepid. It was a terrible Japanese restaurant. But there's many Dominicans. Because they don't know true Japanese food. Maybe it's difficult to find Japanese there. We know that Samurai is just expensive.

Gyosas, miso soup, spicy tuna tempura roll, green tea tiramisu, and "conegito"... just to name a few must-try's. The image forms in your mind. Delicious, healthy... not just sushi, it's all japanese food with remarkably deep flavours!

Samurai is my go-to place for sushi in the city. I absolutely love everything I've tried, especially the Ikebana roll, fujisan sashimi, mariscos flameados, and so many others. It's very hard to put into words exactly how much I love this place (since I come here about once a week). This is by far the freshest sushi I've had in... More

The ambience and the location is great,The outside area is very Japanese, fish tanks and the forniture gives you the right atmosphere to enjoy a nice asian dinner. You have safe parking, just for the restaurant guests, where to leave your car I was reading about the japanese ownership, but i saw only dominicans in there, which is not a... More
