Great atmosphere

Restaurant was easy to find, pretty much in the heart of the Zona Colonial. Loved the decor and atmosphere. The waiter was a little unfriendly after I admitted I didn't understand what he had said in Spanish. I managed to clear up my uncle's order (the waiter was asking him in Spanish what he... read more

We had fishes in coco and criolla sauces, both were good and tasty. Rice was not as fine as it has become custom in Dominicani. Very good tostones. Service was quick, prices could be a bit to high side. No big experience or impression but neither disappointment.

We've seen your Santo Domingo and we think you're a cool guy trying to focus on local grub, being an alternative to fine dining. When it comes to this place you must have been unfocused. We talked about your visit to the waiter, and he was very attentive and interested. He recommended things you tried, and I ordered the empanada... More

This place is awful. Limited, uninspired, overpriced menu. The meat was 80% bones & gristle. Vegetables overcooked, mushy & flavorless. Avoid.

I went there one year ago on November 2013 and had a great experience. Food was great, traditional Dominican creole food. So I went again on December 2014. It was really really bad. We were 4 people. Service was very slow. Almost 15 minutes just to pass the orders. Then another 45 minutes waiting for the food. I've ordered white... More

Not sure why this place isn't higher on the list of restos as they food is great! If you want local DR food, this is the place to go. It's considered pricey, but the food doesn't disappoint. Located in the Zona Colonial, but just off the main road. However, not hard to find. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed the ambiance and the atmosphere - the food was very tasty. We sat upstairs, which is very nice with lost of lovely artwork - a nice place for lunch.

This was our last night in Santo Domingo and it was near perfect. Found this on Trip Advisor--5 min from our hotel---live salsa band, local food and reasonable prices. And there was a TV on so that my husband could watch the game live.

Lovely blue building in the colonial zone. We had the infamous crab empanadas and icy cold Presidente beer-wonderful!! Then followed with fish for main entrees- we all thought the food and service we outstanding. We will be back, bringing our guests who come and visit us.

Nice local spot. Decent reasonably priced food (mains for about $15 USD). Service was ok, we were there at a busy time it seemed.
